Sen Senju stood where he was, rubbing his ears, which had gone numb from the noise.
He glanced at Kakashi, who was already running after Naruto with reddened eyes, then at Tsunade, who stood trembling all over.
"Unbelievable. You're all acting like this is your final farewell."
"I told you that dirty old man's tough to kill. He won't croak that easily."
He slipped his hands back into his pockets and gave a leisurely yawn.
"All right, old lady. Stop standing around."
"Clear out your best emergency room for me, and unplug all those useless machines."
"Since the old man bought one of my precious wooden charms, I suppose I owe him some after-sales service."
Tsunade jerked her head up. A startling light suddenly flared in eyes that had been filled with despair.
She grabbed Sen Senju's shoulders, gripping so hard she nearly crushed his bones.

Sen Senju slapped her hands away in disgust and rolled his eyes.
"Don't make empty promises. I wouldn't take your lousy Hokage seat even if you offered it."
"First, get everything on this junk cart back to my yard. If even one piece of jade goes missing, I'll hold you responsible."
"Then lead the way. If we're late and the old man actually dies, resurrection isn't covered."
