Background

Sen is a war orphan whose parents died during the Third Shinobi World War. As a surviving peripheral member of the Senju Clan, he grows up in a Konoha orphanage with Ishikawa as his roommate. Initially sickly and determined to survive unnoticed, he views his diluted Senju lineage as a liability that could attract people interested in the First Hokage’s cells. 1 5

At age six, Sen transmigrates into the Naruto world and awakens the God Tree Origin System. The system makes him its sole vessel and grants him Photosynthesis and Life Drain, establishing Wood Release as the core of his developing power. 1

His efforts to live quietly collapse almost immediately. He accidentally revives a dead branch, exposes overwhelming chakra reserves during his first Academy lesson, and later grows a massive orchard at Training Ground 44. Hiruzen Sarutobi becomes aware of his Wood Release, while Root begins targeting him. 2 4 9

Personality

Sen’s primary goal is survival through comfort, anonymity, and sunlight. He openly rejects ambitions such as becoming Hokage, seeing leadership as exhausting paperwork, constant surveillance, and an invitation for assassination. Despite this laziness, Sen is calculating and highly self-protective. He conceals his chakra, intentionally fails basic exercises, uses Wood Clones to attend class or take exams, and misleads Hiruzen about the degree of control he possesses over Wood Release. 2 5 10 15
