The Final Decision

Heaven Dou Empire.

Within the imperial palace.

In a palace that had been specially cleared out, the emperor sat upon his throne during a lull, watching the door slowly open with a smile on his face.

Vina poked her head in, curiosity written across her face. When she saw her imperial father seated in the place of honor, she smiled and walked inside.

"Father, what urgent matter did you suddenly call me here for? Morning classes just ended."

Vina gently rubbed her head. She did not understand. A guard had suddenly appeared earlier, stopping her and telling her that the emperor had something to discuss with her.

She had no choice but to give up spending time with Jiang Mu and come here again. Over the past two days, he had called her over for more matters than he had in the previous half month combined. Usually, he would at most casually remind her to build a good relationship with the people from the Body Sect.

But now that he kept summoning her, Vina began to have some unpleasant thoughts.

When the Heaven Dou Emperor saw Vina enter, he nodded and pointed toward the door.

"Of course it's urgent. Close the door first, then come over here."

Creak, creak.

After Vina shut the palace doors, she followed the Heaven Dou Emperor's instructions and approached him, waiting for an answer.

"Come a little closer. Some matters need to be discussed carefully—walls have ears."

Vina nodded and moved closer.

Only then was the Heaven Dou Emperor satisfied. He nodded and spoke quietly.

"I think we need to make some changes. We can't rely entirely on the Body Sect."

"Why? I think things are pretty good as they are."

Vina tilted her head. She actually felt that their current situation was quite good.
