Arc 25The Trial and the Chaos Bell

Li Changshou exposed the plot against Bian Zhuang, brought Randeng to trial, and killed him before pursuing the Chaos Bell with Lord Tongtian. The bell remained unclaimed as Lin Tian Hall prepared to attack the Incense God Kingdom, and Jiu Jiu heard her senior uncle Xiao’s voice vanish.

  • Li Changshou led Heavenly Court forces to Spirit Mountain, where Jieyin allowed a search and Daoist Wen Jing sheltered some fleeing beasts.
  • Li Changshou gave Ling'e a Merit Evasion Treasure and Yunxiao a jade battle incarnation, then investigated the attempt to frame Bian Zhuang at the Moon Palace.

Arc 26The Spirit Mountain Conflict

As the Great Cataclysm took shape, Li Changshou prepared the Heavenly Court and guided the Dao Sect through a clash between the Jie Teaching and Western Teachings. After Spirit Mountain was devastated and the Western Teachings swore an oath, the Chaos Bell joined Li Changshou, and Holy Mother Huoling arrived at the Heavenly Court.

  • Li Changshou helped Ling'e pass her Golden Immortal Tribulation, then arranged Lingzhu Zi’s reincarnation and said farewell to his master, Qi Yuan, as he entered the Reincarnation Pagoda.
  • Li Changshou avoided meeting Qi Yuan’s reincarnated body and stayed with Ling'e, while Chan and Jie Teaching leaders sought out Jiang Shang, and Li Changshou intervened and left Jiang Shang’s fate to Heaven’s Will.

Li Changshou maneuvered through the Shang succession and prepared for Lingzhu Zi’s reincarnation as the Heavenly Dao forced King Zhou’s offense against Nuwa. He then led the Human Race’s ancient heroes against the Heavenly Dao’s will, survived a confrontation with Dao Ancestor, and resolved to improve his chances of victory.

  • Li Changshou accepted Li Jing as his adopted son and guided Shang’s succession, reforms, and growing conflict between Chan Teaching and Jie Teaching.
  • Shen Bao set out on his path toward the coming calamity, while Li Changshou pursued Xu Bodhi and watched the preparations for the Investiture of the Gods.

  • Li Changshou told Ling'e that Suiren had died sealing the Heavenly Dao's selfish desires, then gave her the Virtue of Fire Jade and reconsidered how to gain strength beyond the Dao Ancestor's control.
