The grading golem's sound effect broke Jia Xiu from his thoughts. He temporarily withdrew from the Memory Palace. It was the sound indicating that someone had passed the written test.
The first person to pass so far today.

Jia Xiu looked over that test paper. The golem could only judge whether answers were right or wrong and assign scores; it could not determine the specific reasoning behind an answer.
Besides basic questions with fixed answers and fixed procedures, the test also included rune-splitting problems with no fixed solution, where any method was acceptable as long as it achieved the desired effect.
Looking at the specific thought process would also reveal the student's level of ability.
For instance, a concise, clever, flexible solution was certainly better than a brute-force hard solve.
After all, the capacity on the divine server's side was not infinite. Complexity and resource consumption still needed to be considered.
Jia Xiu roughly finished reviewing it. It could not be called very good, but considering this was their first exposure to such things and they were taking the test on the spot, this level of answering was sufficient.

Jia Xiu had never expected to run into one or two people on Mia's level everywhere he went.
As for the questions after the written test, they were simple as well—just asking about the general line of thought behind solving the test questions.
As the world's first batch of magical rune programmers, there was no way they could ask about project experience. Other than him, no one had any.
And so, an entire morning passed, and only two people were selected from this
