Jia Xiu’s team defeated the God of Pain, then used research into faith, Quaternary Insects, and Magic-Energy Computers to advance planar travel and programmable spellcasting. As the Empire joined their research effort, Odysseus and Jia Xiu discovered that the coordinates the emperor kept seeking concealed a plane behind an encrypted barrier.

• Oberon agreed to steal Titania’s Countermeasure Spell research, and Jia Xiu’s team prepared a planar expedition against the God of Pain.
• Jia Xiu developed a successful consciousness-transfer method, and his team built Plane Unit One and recruited a Blood Clan scholar to complete the navigator team.
• Jia Xiu’s group reached the Exile Plane, trapped the God of Pain in layered illusions, and Justina destroyed its divine kingdom with the Judgment Spear.
• Jia Xiu returned with the God of Pain’s divine authority and began studying its prayers, while the Empire agreed to join the plane-traversal project in exchange for access to the research.
• Jia Xiu and Ram identified a Quaternary Insect substance that made aether break down magic into strings, enabling the team to build a system that recombined them into spell fluctuations.
• Jia Xiu demonstrated programmable spellcasting to the Association, and Unit One used tailored healing-spell fluctuations to kill a captured Horned Devil.
• Odysseus asked Jia Xiu to help investigate the coordinates the emperor had repeatedly searched, and Jia Xiu discovered that a crude, difficult-to-crack enchantment concealed a plane there.

Jia Xiu’s team entered the Ukemak Plane, uncovered the Mother Goddess’s system and secured the Demon-Eating Microbes needed to build a weapon against the Devil Race. After Fat Man destroyed Bronze Fortress, the Association planned long-range strikes into Hell and began preparing a coordinated campaign.

• Jia Xiu and Odysseus investigated the hidden plane’s encryption, and the emperor revealed Ukemak’s history and the Demon-Eating Microbes before the Association approved an expedition.
• Jia Xiu’s team breached the Ukemak Plane, discovered that its Heroes and Demon King were part of a staged cycle, and found the underground facility producing Demon-Eating Microbes.
• Jia Xiu’s group met the Mother Goddess, learned why she had constrained the Ukemak people and how gods relinquished divine authority, then secured her agreement to share the method of stripping that authority in exchange for defeating the Devil Race.
• Back in the Empire, Jia Xiu organized the Fat Man Plan, and the Association’s tests showed that dispersed Demon-Eating Microbes combined with healing magic could kill nearly all Devil Race targets in a wide area.
• The Association tested Fat Man at Bronze Fortress, where Baier and the other Devils were killed, and researchers confirmed the weapon’s success.
• Jia Xiu proposed reversing Any Door to get past Hell’s crystal wall, and Master Larven used the spell to show the Association the wasteland beyond while warning against unauthorized passages.
• The Association decided to prioritize long-range Fat Man strikes, map the Nine Hells, and develop a large teleportation array before presenting its plans to the nations.
