Background

Senju Chiba was originally a corporate worker from another world. Three days after awakening in the body of an orphaned seven- or eight-year-old, he learns that he is the final surviving bloodline of the Senju clan within Konoha’s abandoned clan grounds. His adult soul, knowledge of the ninja world, and the newly awakened Infinite Evolution Template shape his survival-focused approach to the world. 1

As the last Senju, Chiba becomes a target for both Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzo. Hiruzen arranges Academy enrollment and Anbu protection, while Danzo sends Root operatives to seize him. Chiba survives Root’s first attempt through improvised tactics, Sage Body-enhanced physical ability, and his first Wood Release evolution. 1 2

At the Senju ancestral hall, Chiba uncovers a sealed underground inheritance chamber. The seal confirms his bloodline but denies him access because he lacks formal inheritance credentials. After feeding his roots into the withered Tree of Inheritance, he is recognized as a Senju clan head candidate and learns that he must defeat a gatekeeper before progressing through the clan-head trials. 6 7
