"I heard from Yue that you were back, so I rushed over right away."
"You're level fifty?"
Qian Yao sat beside the stone table, relaxed and casual. Unlike Qian Yue, who would sit quietly and wait, Qian Yao began flipping through the cover of the book Qian Yue had left on the table as soon as she sat down. After glancing over its contents, she set it aside and looked up at Li Long.
"I just reached it." Li Long sat across from her. "What about you? How have the past two years been?"
"I'm level forty-four." A faint pride colored Qian Yao's voice. "Five levels higher than when I left. I can't compare to you, but I haven't fallen too far behind either. Yue is a little slower than me, at level forty-two. She spent quite a bit of time studying herbs and preparing medicinal formulas, so she had fewer real battles than I did."
Li Long nodded.
Levels forty-four and forty-two were already considered quite outstanding among Spirit Hall's younger generation.
