Background

Christina first contacts Zhou Bai as a disembodied female voice when he receives the Nine Calamities of Heaven and Man Auxiliary System. Later, she appears to him as a long-haired white cat and explains that she is trapped beneath the underground base, asking him to rescue her. She initially doubts that the exceptionally ordinary Zhou Bai could be the system's destined holder. 1 6

After Zhou Bai retrieves the gemstone from the base laboratory, it returns to Christina and hangs around her neck. She remembers only fragments of her past: she was meant to give both the Auxiliary System and the gemstone to Zhou Bai, but has lost most of her memories and knows little about the world they inhabit. 11 12 13

When Zhou Bai is killed by the Snake Monster Heavenly Demon, Christina's gemstone activates and rewinds events by five minutes. The gemstone is left dim, cracked, and apparently exhausted afterward. 15 16

Following the base's destruction, Christina retains perception while inside Zhou Bai's mind and observes the Heavenly Court Rescue Team as they recover him. At the rescue stronghold, exposure to human civilization causes further memories to surface; she urges Zhou Bai to attend a Dao School, privately hoping to eventually gain control of the Auxiliary System herself. 18 20

At Donghua Dao School, Christina merges with the Sword Diagram when Zhou Bai cannot accept it. She later raises her Primordial Spirit Value to 99, becomes Zhou Bai's cultivation tutor, and develops Sword Qi through the Sword Diagram. 34 47 48

Christina ordinarily manifests as a small, long-haired white cat, though she identifies herself as a girl rather than an actual feline. She can dissolve into mist or smoke to return to Zhou Bai's consciousness. 6 11 31

Personality

Christina is proud, theatrical, and highly sensitive to perceived disrespect. She insists that she is more important than a cat, reacts furiously to being petted or assigned chores, and remains especially resentful when Zhou Bai throws her into danger as a distraction. 12 24 31 32

She is also cunning and initially manipulative. After recovering some memories, she privately plans to train Zhou Bai, take control of him, and claim the Auxiliary System for herself. Zhou Bai recognizes her ulterior motives, and their partnership is often defined by mutual bickering and attempts to exploit one another. 20

Despite this, Christina repeatedly provides essential warnings and guidance. She identifies the Snake Monster as a Heavenly Demon, advises caution around Demonization, helps Zhou Bai understand cultivation theory, and intervenes directly when he is in danger.
