Background

Chen Xin found the orphaned Su Li and brought him into the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect after noticing the child's unusual aura. He later became one of the adults responsible for Su Li's cultivation. 1 3

When Su Li awakened the Pure Jun Sword and the Space Blade as twin martial souls with innate full soul power, Chen Xin was thrilled to have found a potential inheritor for his sword path. Su Li's Arrival and Martial-Soul Awakening

Chen Xin brings Su Li into the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect and becomes ecstatic upon seeing the boy awaken the Pure Jun Sword. After learning that Su Li also possesses the Space Blade, he joins Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong in planning the child's cultivation. 1 2 3

First Soul Ring Hunt

Chen Xin tests Su Li's use of the Space Blade, then escorts him and Ning Rongrong to Sunset Forest. He advises Su Li to seek a light-attribute soul beast, supports his attempt to absorb the six-hundred-year Glimmer Beast, and evaluates the resulting Shine—Blind skill. 12 14

Sword Mentorship

Chen Xin regularly trains and spars with Su Li, exposing him to advanced sword techniques and pushing him to sharpen his understanding of the sword.
