Power Progression

Background and History

Zhenhua is the Blacksmith Association's president and the continent's only Divine Craftsman. Following the Holy Spirit Cult's attack on the Tang Sect Research Institute, he publicly declares that the Association will not compromise with evil and will support the hunt for the cult. 69

Yun Feng seeks him out in Heaven Dou City because she needs Battle Armor and intends to study forging without exposing her identity. Disguised as a twelve-year-old girl, she attacks Zhenhua and Mu Ye to attract their attention, then asks to become Zhenhua's disciple. Though initially guarded, Zhenhua agrees to test her. 63 69

Yun Feng's physical strength and Bloodline Power allow her to raise rare metal directly to Thousand Forging during the test. Zhenhua accepts her as a disciple after witnessing this result, while agreeing to conceal her identity under the name Yun Xue. 70

Zhenhua recognizes Yun Feng's connection to the War God Hall after hearing her name, having previously heard Zang Xin express concern over her disappearance. Her forging talent matters more to him than her background; were her identity less exceptional, he would have wanted her to remain at the Association and succeed him as president after his retirement. 70 71

Over the following month, Zhenhua teaches Yun Feng forging techniques and supports her registration with the Blacksmith Association. She rapidly reaches Level Four Master Blacksmith status by simultaneously forging three metals to Thousand Forging. 71 72 73

When Yun Feng, Bi Ji, and Snow Whisper need a place to evade the Black Empress, Zhenhua permits them to stay at the Association. He also enlists Bi Ji's healing abilities to protect him during a Heavenly Forging attempt. 75 76

During the forging, Na Nali infiltrates the Association with the intention of attacking Zhenhua while he is vulnerable. Eliminating or seriously injuring him would prevent humanity from obtaining further Heavenly Forging metal and producing new Four-Word Battle Armor. Mu Ye's presence deters her, and Zhenhua successfully completes the bracelet before receiving Bi Ji's healing. 77

Zhenhua later gifts Yun Feng the Heavenly Forged bracelet created during that attempt, then gives her his accumulated Half-Step Heavenly Forging alloy when she leaves Heaven Dou City. He subsequently warns her through a secret message that her identity has been exposed and that she must leave urgently. 78 80 81

More than two years later, Zhenhua reunites with Yun Feng at the Eastsea City Blacksmith Association. He welcomes her warmly, evaluates her improved forging, arranges her Level Six blacksmith badge, and has her represent the Federation's Blacksmith Association against Chang Gongyan's disciple, Lin Yuhan. 97 98 100

While Yun Feng absorbs the cultivation resources supplied by Mu Ye, Zhenhua cautions that excessive supplementation could be harmful. After she emerges safely, he witnesses her hundred-thousand-year seventh Soul Ring and questions why he cannot sense her Soul Core. Yun Feng claims to have hidden its aura and demonstrates simulated Soul Core fluctuations. 99

In the public forging competition, Yun Feng completes a Soul-Forged Battle Armor component, establishing herself as a Level-Seven Blacksmith and Saint Craftsman. Chang Gongyan concedes defeat and praises both Zhenhua's standing as a Divine Craftsman and his disciple's exceptional talent. Immediately afterward, Dark Blood Demon fires an arrow toward Zhenhua from within the crowd. Yun Feng intercepts it with her Golden Dragon Spear, but the arrow releases black mist that envelops her, turning the immediate attack against her. 101

Zhenhua had been selected as the assassination target because of his importance to the Federation's production of Four-Word Battle Armor and his comparatively limited personal combat strength. After the attack, he agrees with Yun Feng that Chang Gongyan and Lin Yuhan were not responsible, identifying the Holy Spirit Cult as the likely culprit rather than the Star Luo Empire. Mu Ye later reports that the assassin escaped as blood mist after being seriously wounded by Yun Feng's spear. 101 103

When Chen Xinjie arrives, Zhenhua helps soothe his anger over Yun Feng's prolonged disappearance by emphasizing the importance of her forging studies. He announces that she is the youngest Saint Craftsman in continental history. He subsequently accompanies her to Bright Capital, where Chen Xinjie introduces him to Tang Ziran and Lang Yue as their daughter's blacksmithing teacher. 103 104

At the War God Hall, Zhenhua offers to personally forge One-Word Battle Armor for Tang Wulin. Learning that Yun Feng still has no complete Battle Armor despite being a seven-ring Soul Sage, he reprimands her for neglecting her protection and offers to forge her Three-Word Battle Armor as well. He expresses confidence that she will eventually become a Divine Craftsman and forge her own Four-Word Battle Armor. 107

For the siblings' armor, Zhenhua uses a precious piece of Life Gold acquired during his earlier travels and preserved unused for many years. He divides it into two portions, reserving the larger portion for Yun Feng and using the smaller portion for Tang Wulin. He completes Tang Wulin's emerald-gold One-Word Battle Armor, which Tang Wulin names Fate, then begins the complete Soul Forging required for Yun Feng's armor. 116 117

Zhenhua completes Yun Feng's Three-Word Battle Armor in roughly half an hour. During forging, he notices the newly awakened Life Gold's unusually intense fear but attributes it to the metal's special nature, remaining unaware of Yun Feng's true identity as the Gold Dragon King. After her bloodline imprint transforms the armor into a predominantly golden set with emerald accents, he observes its exceptional quality. Yun Feng names it Sacred Dragon King, prompting a playful naming exchange with him. 118

After staying at the War God Hall for several more days, Zhenhua returns to Heaven Dou City because the Blacksmith Association cannot remain without its president for long. 118

Personality

Zhenhua is calm and measured under pressure. When Yun Feng unexpectedly attacks him and Mu Ye, he remains cautious rather than retaliating recklessly, choosing to assess her aptitude before deciding whether to accept her request. 69 70

He is deeply proud of exceptional forging talent and becomes openly delighted by Yun Feng's growth. Although aware that she conceals much of her ability, he protects her secrecy, provides resources without demanding repayment, and treats her as family rather than merely an apprentice. 71 73 78 97

His generosity is paired with professional judgment. He recognizes when Yun Feng is restraining herself, identifies her potential to reach at least Saint Craftsman-level ability, and warns her that hiding her brilliance too completely may prevent her from receiving proper support. 78 98

His concern extends to practical safety. He warns Mu Ye against overloading Yun Feng with supplements and regards Battle Armor as a Soul Master's “second life,” refusing to let her powerful physique become an excuse for neglecting it. He is also touched by her repeated concern for his health, affectionately teasing her when she suggests that he rest before further forging. 99 107 117

Despite his status, Zhenhua does not insist on social distance from Yun Feng's family. When Tang Ziran and Lang Yue greet him formally, he invites them to interact with him as equals. 104
