Background / History

Xiao Wu was sent away from the Star Dou Great Forest by her mother while Spirit Hall experts pursued them. After her mother disappeared and a hundred-thousand-year soul ring appeared in the sky, Xiao Wu came to believe that Bibi Dong had killed her and trained with revenge as her goal. 50

After leaving the forest, she wandered to a village near Nuoding City, where a village chief and his wife temporarily sheltered her. She then entered Nuoding City without concealing her soul beast aura, unaware of the danger posed by nearby Titled Douluo. 25

Lan Yin recognized Xiao Wu's true identity, placed a tracking mark on her, and erased her exposed soul beast aura. Drawn in by carrot dishes and Lan Yin's kindness, Xiao Wu accepted their company and began traveling with Lan Yin and Tang Chuan. 24 25

When Tang Chuan confronted her after her identity was exposed, Xiao Wu believed he intended to take her soul ring and soul bone. He instead spared her, though she realized Lan Yin was effectively preserving her as Tang Chuan's future reserve soul ring; Xiao Wu began considering escape while also placing increasing trust in him. 30 31
