Background / History

Izumi was initially deeply in love with Uchiha Itachi, with her affection toward him measured at 87%. On the night of the Uchiha Clan massacre, she tracked Obito near the Police Force building after witnessing him kill clan members. Her Three-Tomoe Sharingan and kunai attack proved ineffective against Kamui, and Obito bound her before Mu intervened to save her. 2

After Mu hid her from the massacre, he used a Love Transfer Card that redirected her affection to him. She immediately urged Mu to flee from the destruction of the clan and accepted his promise to protect her. 4

Izumi accepted Mu's marriage proposal and exchanged matching rings with him, becoming his fiancée. The Uchiha massacre left her grief-stricken, but she gradually recovered while living with Mu. 5 6

Over the following three years, she trained with Mu, adopted nine children, and rose to elite jonin. Mu then used a Rank Enhancement Card on her, raising her to Kage level and awakening her Susanoo. 10
