What John Wick simply could not understand was that Sherlock had summoned the Avengers over nothing more than two teenage girls' puberty issues. What John Wick understood even less was that by that very afternoon, nearly half the Avengers had actually gathered at the hotel.
Other than Banner, who was already abroad, and Thor, who had taken Loki back to Asgard, almost everyone had shown up.
Tony brought Pepper over on his private jet, then transferred to a helicopter straight to the hotel. But the most outrageous were Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Captain America—those three had actually procured a Quinjet from S.H.I.E.L.D. and flown it over!
When John Wick and Helen saw nearly half the Avengers, who had risen to fame in the Battle of New York, gathered together, they were completely dumbfounded. Black Egg and those black-hearted maggots were just as stunned.
Especially after learning that the reason so many Avengers had gathered in Florida was merely because the girl next door to Sherlock had hit puberty and started attracting boys, they all felt as though the world had become absurd.
Of course, Black Egg had the hardest time accepting it. Damn it, he had actually forgotten that those three were on vacation and had been jointly sweet-talked out of a Quinjet by Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Captain America!
Helpless, he could only tearfully classify this Quinjet deployment as top secret. This thing was practically becoming part of Black Egg's collection of embarrassing history.
As for why so many Avengers had come at Sherlock's summons—
Wanting to witness the drama in person was one reason. After all, there were few things that could make Sherlock lose his composure. No one had expected to see Sherlock like this here.
Another reason was that the vacation destination John Wick had chosen
