It wasn't just Sherlock—even little Doro had looked furious when he found out that John Wick and his family had gone on vacation. The two angry figures had nearly spoken in unison the instant the call connected, launching into a joint condemnation of John Wick.
"Old John! You went on vacation and didn't even invite me?"
"Bad guy! You went out to have fun without Doro! Doro hates you now!"
The simultaneous accusations reached John Wick through the phone, and even with his training, he couldn't make out what either of them had said.
Still, based on what he knew about Sherlock, even without hearing his exact words, John Wick could guess what Sherlock meant.
"Haah..."
John Wick sighed before speaking to Sherlock.
"Wasn't I worried about delaying your important business? I saw you and Doro showing off your power in Manhattan on TV! Besides, I originally wanted to invite you, but I waited at home for ages and never saw you come back. In the end, Helen and I could only take Anna and Mindy on vacation by ourselves!"

"Sherlock! If you don't know how to talk, then don't talk! I can still piss ten feet against the wind!"
"Then why do you sound like you
