Nature

Dao Bodies are body-bound cultivation traits whose effects are spread through a cultivator by unique laws; they cannot simply be seized by another person. 65

Their forms are highly diverse. After the Great Upheaval of Heaven and Earth, turbid spiritual energy and Variant Spiritual Energies gave rise to innumerable new Dao Body types, while some Ancient Immortal Cultivation World Dao Bodies became extinct due to environmental incompatibility. 223

Formation and Development

Branded organs and cultivation methods

Dao Bodies may be linked to specific organs. Li Mo's Leakless Body is associated with human skin, the Taotie Devouring Body with the five viscera, and the Primordial Dao Body with the Primordial Acquired Dao Body and its Dao Seed. 186

The incomplete Primordial Acquired Dao Body lacked entry-level steps, making ordinary cultivation nearly impossible. Li Mo bypassed this problem by refining a Mist-born Carp Swim Bladder into a Dao Seed and transplanting it into his Middle Dantian. 36 46 48
