Sight-Roaming the Dragon Palace Crown Prince
The water curtain rolled down from the thousand-foot cliff with a thunderous roar, concealing the cave abode behind the beaded curtain.
Chen Lingxi stepped into the water and went straight to the futon at the deepest part of the cave abode, where he sat down cross-legged.
"Senior brother, you're back?" Yuan Lingyu poked her head out of the cave entrance, her eyes filled with anticipation. "That fortuitous opportunity with the immortal servant..."
With no clear lead, Chen Lingxi thought for a moment, then offered no further explanation, simply shaking her head slightly.
The surprise in Yuan Lingyu's eyes instantly faded.
Perhaps fearing that Chen Lingxi heartbroken, she considerately suppressed her dejection and forced a smile, saying, "It's alright. Senior Brother has extraordinary talent. Even without that fortuitous opportunity with the Immortal Servant, he will naturally have other fortuitous opportunity in the future. Moreover, with Master's protection, there is much less to worry about."
Chen Lingxi knew that her junior sister was worried about her, so she nodded slightly, and the two chatted for a while longer.
Yuan Lingyu in her hands, intending to pour a cup for her senior brother when he obtained the fortuitous opportunity to become a celestial servant.
Although there was no joyous occasion, she still poured Chen Lingxi a full cup before placing the porcelain bottle on the stone platform at the cave entrance, her voice carrying a hint of obedience. "Then, Senior Brother, please rest well. Lingyu will come again another day."
The footsteps faded into the distance, eventually being swallowed up by the sound of water.
Chen Lingxi listened quietly until the footsteps could no longer be heard, then slowly raised her hand.
Open your palm.
The Dragon Origin obtained from the Entwined-Dragon Palace was lying there quietly.
In an instant, the moisture in the cave abode seemed to freeze.
The Dragon Origin was no bigger than a pigeon egg, and its color was bluish-green, but inside it seemed to contain a bottomless ocean.
The ocean surface was calm and still, but beneath the surface, countless tiny points of light could be faintly seen moving slowly, like ten thousand stars sinking to the bottom of an abyss, flickering and sometimes gathering and sometimes scattering.
Chen Lingxi looked at it using the method of Qi Observation, and his heart skipped a beat.
He had seen many treasures in his life, but the Spiritual Qi contained within this Dragon Origin was completely different from all the spiritual opportunities he had encountered along the way.
The Spiritual Qi didn't seem to be naturally nurtured by heaven and earth; rather, it seemed to have been drawn directly from the bones and blood of some living being, carrying an indescribable, warm vitality.
The vitality was so abundant that it almost overflowed from the thin primordial wall.
He looked at it intently again.
Deep within the Dragon Origin, wisps of energy were faintly circulating, intertwining and echoing each other, like living things, carrying a rhythmic pattern, almost like a heartbeat.
He tried to activate a Dao Origin to touch that aura.
As soon as Dao Origin approached, the Dragon Origin trembled slightly.
Within the cave abode, something extremely ancient seemed to have been awakened by this touch!
Chen Lingxi felt that the Thunder Thunder-Prison Profound Root in his Qi Sea trembled slightly involuntarily, as if responding or on guard.
The aura within the Dragon Origin was incompatible with his Thunder Method, yet they weren't exactly mutually exclusive; rather, they were like two ferocious beasts, neither willing to yield first.
"This Dragon Origin... is extraordinary." He murmured to himself, slowly withdrawing his Dao Origin: "It is far beyond what ordinary Dao Origin can compare to."
He raised his head and glanced at the hazy sky reflected in the water outside the curtain. His thoughts involuntarily drifted back to that magnificent main hall and the figure sitting on the clouds.
Entwined-Dragon Crown Prince...
Great Luo Heavenly Immortal...
Just then, a light suddenly appeared outside the cave abode, enveloping the entire cave abode in a warm glow.
The radiance was a pale gold, not dazzling, yet it possessed an indescribable solemnity, as if it were beyond human capability.
Chen Lingxi's heart stirred, and she got up and walked out of the cave abode.
In the sky above, the phantom of the Divine Deer that had hung high for countless years slowly lowered its head.
Its antlers reached the sky, and its body shimmered with light like a tide. Its deer eyes, seemingly looking out over a vast expanse of Void, were quietly fixed on him.
Then, a golden ray of light descended from the antlers, transforming into a stream of light that flew straight toward him, hovering in front of him like a bridge or a guide.
"The True Person Xiang Shu summoned me." Chen Lingxi understood.
He stepped onto that golden glow.
The rosy light paused slightly, then lifted him into the sky, soaring over high cliffs and layers of clouds, heading straight for the main peak of Deer-Sleeping Peak.
At the top of the main peak, a sea of clouds surges beneath your feet.
The Golden Grotto Daoist Grounds stands quietly amidst the sea of clouds, its vermilion walls and green tiles shrouded in Spiritual Qi energy.
Chen Lingxi himself off, straightened his robes, and was about to step forward to report when the gate of the Daoist temple opened silently.
A lamp shone brightly inside the door.
True Person Xiang Shu sat under that lamp, with his back to the door.
"Come in," came the Divine Sense the True Person.
Chen Lingxi over the threshold, stopped three steps inside the door, and bowed respectfully. "Disciple greets Master."
True Person Xiang Shu nodded slightly and spoke slowly.
"That Dragon Origin... have you refined it?"
Chen Lingxi replied, "Not yet."
He paused slightly at this point in his speech. "Master, what exactly are the servants of the Entwined-Dragon Palace?"
"Servant." True Person Xiang Shu repeated the two words and slowly turned around.
The lamplight illuminated his gaunt face, revealing a deep sadness in his expression, where there was little kindness to be found.
"Chen Lingxi," he said, "Do you know what a colossal thing the Great Su Dragon Palace is?"
Chen Lingxi lowered his eyes and said, "This disciple does not know, please enlighten me, Master."
"The Great Dragon Palace is the Great Luo Heavenly True Dragon Palace." The voice of the True Man Xiang Shu echoed in the empty Daoist hall, "It has four dragon palaces under its command, each of which is extraordinary."
Above the Dragon Palace, there is also the Great Luo Heaven as its support.
Not to mention in this Nine-Towers Land, even if we look further afield, there are only a handful of forces that can rival the Great Su Dragon Palace.
Throughout the entire Nine Palaces... no one can rival the Great Su Dragon Palace.
He paused.
"Even so," his voice suddenly turned somber, "You must never become Entwined-Dragon Servant."
Chen Lingxi felt a slight tremor in her heart.
He raised his head and looked at his master.
True Person Xiang Shu stood under the lamp, his face now displaying an extremely rare, almost solemn expression.
His expression seemed genuine, and his eyes truly held a deep, almost burning concern.
After a few moments of silence, Chen Lingxi spoke softly, "Please enlighten me, Master."
The Great Luo Heavenly Immortal and the Dragon Palace Crown Prince promised Cauldron Artifact Fortune, Mysterious Void Dao Fruit, Young Dragon Bloodline —all opportunities that countless Dao Foundation Realm cultivators would flock to.
Why did his master tell him to refuse outright when it came to him?
True Person Xiang Shu slowly shook his head.
"It cannot be revealed."
His tone carried an indistinct mix of helplessness and apprehension. "But... I will certainly protect you."
He paused, as if feeling that his words were not enough, and added, "You may refuse, but there's no need to be overly afraid of the Dragon Prince."
Chen Lingxi nodded slightly and did not ask any further questions.
He appeared respectful, but inwardly he was somewhat puzzled.
"This True Person Xiang Shu... the concern in his eyes doesn't seem fake." Chen Lingxi pondered silently, growing increasingly puzzled.
"But all my memories of Deer-Sleeping Peak, my past as a disciple of Deer Deer-Sleeping Peak, and even the camaraderie between me and the many disciples on the peak, were all woven by him with the Fate-Evolving Purple Radiance."
He altered my memories, the memories of many disciples of Deer-Sleeping Peak, recruited me into the sect, and treated me with such solemnity... He must have something to do with me."
As he thought about it, his brows furrowed slightly without him noticing.
That's why he couldn't understand it even more.
If this True Person has ulterior motives, it is to treat him as an object or a pawn.
The chess pieces should be hidden under the chessboard, waiting to be placed.
Yet, the True Person treated him several times, and in his words and actions, his concern, kindness, and earnest worry were completely flawless...
It was as if this True Person truly was a master who cared deeply for his disciples.
"Such Golden Grotto figures, if they really wanted to plot something, could lay countless traps with just a thought."
Why bother putting on this act day after day in front of a mere Dao Foundation Realm disciple?
The more he thought about it, the more he felt that his master was somewhat strange.
Chen Lingxi out of her thoughts, suddenly raised her head, and asked, "But I wonder what the name of that Dragon Palace Crown Prince is?"
True Person Xiang Shu seemed surprised that he would suddenly ask this question, and paused slightly before speaking:
"He is the Sixth Entwined-Dragon Crown Prince, named [Chan Zhaofu]."
As he finished speaking, the Dao Origin flowed and illuminated three large characters.
"Chan Zhaofu..." Chen Lingxi stared at the three Dao Origin characters, silently repeating the name in his mind before slowly nodding, "This disciple has memorized it."
After speaking, he bowed to True Person Xiang Shu and said, "This disciple takes his leave."
"Go," said True Person Xiang Shu.
Chen Lingxi turned around and walked towards the door.
As he reached the threshold, the voice of True Person Xiang Shu came from behind him again.
The voice was even more solemn than before, yet it carried an undeniable seriousness:
"Do not become Entwined-Dragon Servant."
"I... would never harm you."
Chen Lingxi somewhat helpless.
"What riddle is this, Master?"
He thought to himself, "What am I complaining about?" The gate to the dojo behind him closed silently.
Chen Lingxi rose up on the clouds and flew back to the Water-Curtain Cave from which she had come.
It was already midnight when we returned to the Water-Curtain Cave.
Moonlight filtered through the gaps in the clouds, falling on the cascading water curtain like countless pieces of shattered silver.
Chen Lingxi passed through the water curtain and sat cross-legged on the futon.
He flipped his palm and took out the Dragon Origin.
The Dragon Origin essence lay quietly in his palm, its color as blue as water and as smooth as jade.
His Divine Sense flowed and entered it.
The flow of energy became increasingly clear, and this rhythm of energy was different from ordinary Spiritual Qi, as if it were echoing a distant existence!
"This Dragon Origin..." Chen Lingxi murmured to himself, "It's not ordinary Dao Origin; it seems more like something peeled off from that prince, carrying his original essence."
He took a deep breath, his eyes flickering with uncertainty.
"The Great Xuanzhuo Realm... has many secrets." He murmured to himself, "I originally thought that after escaping from the Weiji Grotto-Heaven and coming to this Spiritual Qi rich Great Xuanzhuo Realm, I would be free to roam the vast sky and sea."
But once I arrived here, I realized that the vastness and profundity of this world Non-Self previous imagination.
He raised his eyes and looked out at the mountains and fields shrouded in night outside the cave abode, his gaze seemingly trying to pierce through the layers of clouds and reach the far, far away place.
" In the Nine-Towers Land, numerous sects have become extremely powerful."
Those powerful clans have deep foundations and numerous powerful figures?
"I've only climbed to the top of Deer-Sleeping Peak, but what does Deer-Sleeping Peak amount to in the entire Nine Palaces?"
"Now, another Great Luo Heaven has appeared."
The Great Luo Heaven hangs high above, seemingly above the Nine Palaces. Even the Golden Grotto True Person must remain silent and pay homage when he sees its messenger.
How many secrets does such a being hold that I am unaware of?
He lowered his head, looking at the Dragon Origin in his palm, his gaze gradually becoming serious.
I am weak.
If you want to uncover more secrets, relying solely on your own gradual exploration step by step is ultimately too slow.
As he thought this, he suddenly closed his eyes and let a wisp of his consciousness sink into his Divine Chamber.
The cloud-shrouded Void once again unfolded before his eyes.
The clouds surged like waves, with countless tiny golden specks of light floating and flickering within them.
Above the clouds, rows of golden tadpole-shaped characters hung silently, radiating a warm and ancient glow.
Chen Lingxi's consciousness fell upon the words, following the line "[Sight-Roaming]" downwards.
The first line reads, "Lin Suri).
The second line reads: Emperor Daye, Ying Xian.
These two lines of text shone with a warm glow, representing the two people he had long been bound to, people through whom he could spy on the movements of others.
He has used this supernatural ability to travel to Wandering Sight Divine Ability to rise from a dying medicine slave to where he is today.
At that moment, his gaze fell on the third line.
There was nothing there.
Only a faint, almost indistinct shadow hung silently in the clouds, as if waiting for something.
"As my cultivation level increases daily, the spot for the third person to Sight-Roaming has been opened." A glint of light appeared in Chen Lingxi's eyes.
With a slight thought, the Dragon Origin manifested once more, hovering in the Void of the Divine Chamber, radiating a faint blue-green glow.
"Now that I have the Dragon Origin in my hands, I might as well give it a try."
He stared at the Dragon Origin, his mind churning with thoughts like a surging tide.
"I have been practicing the Wandering Sight Divine Ability for so long that I already know the key to it."
To Sight-Roaming ordinary people like You, one must know their name, birth date, and the items they handled.
However, if one wants to Sight-Roaming a true powerhouse like You, one cannot rely solely on one's birth chart.
The strong possess profound karma and a weighty destiny; ordinary matters, such as those related to the Eight Characters of Birth, cannot reveal their true nature.
"A name is needed, and even more importantly, a cause-and-effect relationship is required."
He silently recited the mantra in his heart, his gaze falling upon the Dragon Origin, which shone even brighter.
How difficult it is to find the causal factors of the strong!
Such figures are high above, impenetrable, and ordinary cultivators, let alone obtaining their karmic rewards, might not even have the fortune to catch a glimpse of them from afar.
"But now... this Dragon Origin is in my hands, and it has a deep connection with that Crown Prince. I wonder if it's something that has a karmic connection. I might as well give it a try!"
With this thought in mind, a wisp of his consciousness quietly probed into the Dragon Origin.
"If this Dragon Origin is truly a product of his karma... perhaps I can use it as a pretext to Sight-Roaming this Dragon Palace Prince."
The more he thought about it, the more intensely that thought burned in his mind.
"In this Nine-Towers Land, on Deer-Sleeping Peak, I appear to be at peace, but in reality, I am shrouded in mist everywhere."
"If Sight-Roaming that Sixth Entwined-Dragon Crown Prince, and learn from his sights and travels, to see the Great Su Dragon Palace, the Great Luo Heaven, and what these colossal beings above me truly look like... then my horizons would be greatly broadened."
Even if I only catch a glimpse of something, it would be an incredible fortuitous opportunity for me.
He made his decision in his heart, and that wisp of consciousness no longer hesitated, slowly flowing along the mysterious trajectory of the Wandering Sight Divine Ability in the Divine Chamber.
Inside the Divine Chamber, clouds surged and billowed!
He took a deep breath, drawing, intertwining, and fusing that wisp of Dragon Origin with the profound mystery of his own Wandering Sight Divine Ability Mystery Mechanism, inch by inch.
"Chan Zhaofu."
He silently recited the name in his heart, word by word.
In an instant, the Void the Divine Chamber trembled slightly.
The third line of tadpole-shaped characters, which had been dim and blank, suddenly lit up at that moment.
The light spread outwards from the center, and in an instant, it completely dyed that blank line a brilliant gold.
Within that gold, countless fine lines flowed, as if something was slowly awakening deep within the characters.
Chen Lingxi felt her consciousness being gently drawn by an irresistible force, following the golden light and drifting towards that extremely deep and distant place.
A misty atmosphere filled the air.
The magic of Tao arises by itself.
That feeling was all too familiar to him.
Just as when he first Sight-Roaming Lin Suri with the Incense Burner, the world suddenly felt lighter, as if a door that had been tightly closed for a long time had suddenly been opened before him.
"It's done." He murmured to himself, then took a long, deep breath.
The next instant, his consciousness was completely immersed in that surging golden light.
"Sight-Roaming [Chan Zhaofu]!"
