Background / History

Pangu emerged from a cracked eggshell after 135 calamities, already a Half-Step Great Dao powerhouse. He proclaimed himself an anomaly born to redefine Chaos's order and announced his intent to split heaven and earth, create the Eternal True Realm, and destroy all beings in Chaos who opposed him 46.

He claimed to have awakened across countless Chaos Epochs, ended the beings of prior Chaos Ages, and created tens of thousands of worlds—none of which became an Eternal True Realm. In this era, he viewed the top hundred Chaos Demon Gods as essential sacrifices for his new world 48.

After his birth, Pangu reclaimed the Heaven-Opening Axe from a Dao formation while seated upon the Chaos Genesis Azure Lotus. He then searched for the Creation Jade Butterfly, the final Chaos supreme treasure he considered necessary for opening heaven 47 48.

Pangu's search brought him to Feng Yue's secluded territory. He killed Clover, blood-sacrificed the Creation Demon God to trace the Creation Jade Butterfly, captured the Five Elements Demon God, and seized Little Black and Little White 50 51. His attempt to coerce Feng Yue into surrendering the treasure led to an extended conflict between the anomaly and the variable 52 54.

During the Chaos End Calamity, Pangu fought Feng Yue while using their clash to accelerate Chaos's collapse. He destroyed the Demon Gods' Three Thousand Chaos Great Array, massacred numerous Chaos Demon Gods, and sought to repair the flaw in his Dao heart caused by defeat at Future Feng Yue's hands 56 57 59 61.

After 126,600 years of fighting Feng Yue, Pangu began opening heaven and earth. The Great Dao's trial repeatedly forced clear and turbid qi back together while crushing his body and draining his power. Pangu persisted until the Primordial World took shape, but his Heaven-Opening Axe shattered, the Chaos Genesis Azure Lotus broke apart, and he succumbed to the final strike from the Eye of Dao 66 67.

Before dying, Pangu warned Feng Yue to beware of the Dao. Feng Yue placed his body into the newborn Primordial World and accelerated its transformation into the world's mountains, stars, rivers, plains, and other natural features 67 69.

Appearance

Pangu is an immeasurably tall, burly giant whose Chaos Dao Body dwarfs ordinary Chaos Demon Gods. His hair hangs loose and wild, and he carries an overwhelming tyrannical majesty 47.

His pride is paired with resolve. Even after Future Feng Yue shattered his Dao heart and severely weakened him, he continued slaughtering Demon Gods, challenged Feng Yue again, and endured the Great Dao's trial in pursuit of his heaven-opening ambition 59 61 65 66.

He is also calculating rather than purely reckless. His prolonged fight with Feng Yue was partly intended to hasten Chaos's collapse, and he waited for the Great Dao's weakest point before attempting to create heaven and earth 56 65.
