Background / History

Feng Yue was originally a man from Earth before transmigrating into the boundless, pre-heaven-and-earth Chaos. His new true form was a Chaos Tree, an exceptional Chaos spiritual root capable of absorbing Chaos energy and purifying its surroundings. He spent more than a dozen kalpas comprehending the “Dao” left in his inheritance while longing to one day take form and explore Chaos. 1 5

The Five Elements Demon God attempted to refine Feng Yue for three kalpas. Rather than being refined, Feng Yue absorbed the invading Five Elements Law and transformed it into his own understanding. When the Chaos Pearl merged with him, he awakened his innate ability to absorb and evolve external laws. 1 2

Feng Yue ultimately created the Boundless Space-Time Dao, completed his transformation into a Chaos Dao Body, and reversed the power balance with the Five Elements Demon God. After initially sparing him, Feng Yue later killed him, absorbed his Dao soul and Golden Wheel, and seized his treasures. 3 4 5

Appearance

Feng Yue’s original body is an immense Chaos Tree. After taking form, he possesses a human-based Chaos Dao Body and is usually presented as an elegant young man with an imposing, refined bearing. 1 4 55

  • True form: A Chaos Tree with purple-gold runes across its roots, a Great Dao aura in its trunk, and five-colored branches and leaves. 1
  • Dao Body: Often wears violet robes and a jade crown; his eyes are notably bright. 4
  • Later attire: His present Dao Body wears a black-and-white Daoist robe, while his future self appears in violet-gold robes and a jeweled violet-gold crown. 58
  • Disguises: When among humans, he suppresses his aura and dresses as an ordinary man in a plain white robe, hairpin, and gray boots. 99

Personality

Feng Yue is proud, theatrical, and deeply confident in his strength. He enjoys taunting enemies, praising his own appearance, and turning battles into demonstrations of superiority. 5 17 43

His humor often masks a calculating and self-protective nature. He distrusts others who wish to follow him, manipulates Demon Gods into unfavorable arrangements, and uses methods such as the Daoheart Demon-Seeding Method to secure obedience. 20 21 98

Despite his ruthlessness, Feng Yue shows genuine attachment to humanity. He feels guilt and kinship toward the Human race, gives opportunities to weaker beings, and accepts Fuxi and Nuwa as disciples with unusually generous gifts. 96 99 107 111
