History

Spirit Hall is first encountered through its regional infrastructure. Fang Yuan uses the Notting City branch to rent a Soul Beast Pegasus carriage for Tang San’s journey to Sunset Forest, then returns the carriage through the Heaven Dou City branch 4. After Tang San gains his first Soul Ring, Fang Yuan brings him back to the Notting branch to register as an official Soul Master 20.

As Fang Yuan’s academy and Soul Tool research grow, Spirit Hall’s interest shifts from observation to recruitment and containment. Salas treats Fang Yuan with notable courtesy during the Heaven Dou tournament preliminaries, signaling that Spirit Hall has identified him as a valuable rising figure 153. Bibi Dong subsequently summons him to the Papal Hall under the pretext of mediating the conflict with the Elephant Armor Sect, while intending to assess or acquire his Soul Tool Department 159 160.

Fang Yuan refuses to kneel before Bibi Dong and later escapes Spirit City using Fixed Immortal Travel after threatening retaliation if his disciples are harmed 160 162.
