Background / History
Tang San proposes the name “Tang Sect” after Fang Yuan asks him to establish and manage a faction. The name fulfills Tang San’s longstanding wish to rebuild the sect of his previous life on Douluo Continent. Tang San asks Fang Yuan to join as Supreme Elder with ultimate authority, while Tang San serves as Sect Master. Fang Yuan accepts after repeated requests, intending to shield the fledgling sect and retain control over its core direction 70.
Tang San presents the Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record as the sect’s initial foundation, including hidden-weapon designs, martial arts, poisons, and antidotes. Fang Yuan instead establishes a development strategy of integrating hidden weapons with Soul Tools, increasing their power while lowering production costs. Control of Soul Tool core technology remains with Fang Yuan 71.
Fang Yuan proposes recruiting the four former affiliated clans of the Clear Sky Sect, whose members suffered after Clear Sky Sect withdrew into seclusion. Tang San agrees on the condition that the Tang Sect remains wholly independent of both Clear Sky Sect and Spirit Hall 72.
The Strength Clan becomes the first clan to join, followed by the Defense Clan, Speed Clan, and Breaking Clan. The four clans relocate to Heaven Dou City, where the Defense Clan begins construction of the Tang Sect headquarters 108 115 121 123.
Following the headquarters’ completion, the sect delivers its first batch of Soul Tools to the Heaven Dou Imperial Family and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect in what Fang Yuan regards as the continent’s first large-scale Soul Tool trade 153.
