| Alias(es) | Clear Sky Douluo; Haotian Douluo |
| Gender | Male |
| Occupation/Role | Titled Douluo; blacksmith; Tang San's father |
| First Appearance | 6 |
Background / History
After Ah Yin's sacrifice, Tang Hao lost hope and lived in Holy Soul Village as a perpetually drunk blacksmith. Though he outwardly treated Tang San coldly and made her fend for herself, he privately became intensely protective of his daughter, whom he believes resembles Ah Yin. 6
When Tang San left for Nuoding Academy, Tang Hao secretly escorted her and monitored Dorm Seven from outside. His surveillance exposed him to Lin Wu's influence over her, leaving him furious, grief-stricken, and reluctant to intervene because Tang San's happiness had visibly returned. 6 7
Tang Hao attempted to prevent Tang San from taking a thousand-year Nine-Section Heavenly Heart Bamboo as her first soul ring. He secretly captured a four-hundred-year Mandala Snake he considered appropriate for her absorption limit, but could not stop Tang San from successfully absorbing the thousand-year ring under Lin Wu's protection. 14 16
After Tang San formally accepted Lin Wu as her master, Tang Hao confronted Lin Wu directly. Tang San defended Lin Wu and threatened to sever ties with her father if he harmed him, forcing Tang Hao to release him. 17
Appearance
Tang Hao is a tall, broad man whose posture is often slightly hunched. He presents himself as a worn-down drunkard despite his status as the Clear Sky Douluo. 6 21
- Tattered gray cloak and ragged robes. 6 25
- Weathered, stubbled face marked by scars. 6 17
- Often carries the smell of cheap liquor and rust. 6
- Burly, iron-tower-like build. 21

Personality
Tang Hao is fiercely devoted to Tang San. He secretly watches over her, worries about her safety, and repeatedly suppresses his own anger because openly acting against Lin Wu risks driving her away. 6 7 17
His protectiveness frequently turns volatile. Tang San's devotion to Lin Wu causes Tang Hao profound jealousy, grief, and humiliation; he vents alone by smashing trees after their conflicts. 18 19 Despite this resentment, he eventually recognizes Lin Wu's unusual combat ability and cultivation insight. 19 23
