Background

Dai Mubai is a prince of the Star Luo Empire who fled to Soto City and became a senior student at Shrek Academy. He left behind his fiancée, Zhu Zhuqing, while attempting to escape the pressures surrounding his royal position and succession struggle. When Lin Wu identifies his royal bloodline, Dai assumes his brother Dai Weisi has sent an assassin after him. 24

Before the conflict at Shrek, Dai spends his time at the Rose Hotel with women, presenting himself as carefree and uninhibited. His behavior is later characterized as avoidance of both his fears and his obligations. 22 24

His bravado collapses when Lin Wu exposes his identity and confronts him over abandoning Zhu Zhuqing and fleeing from his responsibilities. After being overwhelmed physically and verbally, Dai becomes fearful and begs Lin Wu to stop. 24

Rose Hotel Incident

Dai encounters Lin Wu, Tang San, and Tang Hao at the Rose Hotel in Soto City. Drawn to Tang San's appearance, he pushes aside his previous companions and attempts to invite her to his suite. 22

When he attacks Lin Wu with his White Tiger martial soul, Lin evades him and stomps him into the hotel floor. 23

Defeat and Exposure

Dai uses White Tiger Vajra Transformation and attempts White Tiger Fierce Light Wave, but Lin breaks through his defense, sends him through a window, and beats him in the street. 24

Lin identifies him as a Star Luo prince and denounces him for abandoning Zhu Zhuqing and running from his fears. Dai ultimately pleads for mercy. 24

Shrek Academy Humiliation

Lin drags Dai by the collar to Shrek Academy, treating him as a warning to its teachers and students. 25

At the academy entrance, Lin throws Dai beneath Shrek's signboard. Zhu Zhuqing recognizes her absent fiancé, while Li Yusong identifies him as Shrek's level-37 star student. 26 27
