Meitellia carried a magic stone lamp in one hand and held Ming Ge's hand in the other as she led him to the door on the inner side of the church that they had just passed through.

Once she opened it, a dim staircase lay beyond.

"Is it too dark?"

As they entered, Meitellia seemed to notice Ming Ge's fear of the darkness and spoke softly to him.

As they slowly descended the dark stairs, it was not only Ming Ge—Meitellia's heart was racing too, both from their closeness and the dark surroundings.

Every member of the Hera Familia was female, while every member of the Zeus Familia was male. These husband-and-wife Familias were known as the two strongest Familias in the world.

But Zeus was a lecherous old man, while Hera was highly jealous. Quarrels between the couple were commonplace, so naturally, their Familias did not get along openly.

Therefore, this was also Meitellia's first time being so close to a man, let alone holding hands as they walked down a dark staircase together.
