Background / History
Alfia and her younger twin sister, Meitellia, were both born with terminal negative skills. Alfia possessed overwhelming talent while Meitellia was frail and unable to fight, leading Alfia to blame herself for having “stolen” her sister’s talent and nourishment in the womb. This guilt shaped her fiercely protective attitude toward Meitellia and her refusal to interfere with her sister’s personal choices. 20 91
A Level 7 prodigy and the Hera Familia’s youngest executive, Alfia took part in the joint Zeus, Hera, and Poseidon Familia campaign against Leviathan. She delivered the final blow that defeated the Sea Lord, earning recognition as the Silent Witch. 20
After Meitellia discovered that Alfia’s condition had deteriorated severely, she brought her to Ming Ge for treatment. Ming Ge first suppressed the negative skill, then regulated Alfia’s disordered bodily functions and eventually created an inscription array capable of fully sealing its effects. Alfia initially distrusted him as the man who had taken Meitellia away, but his efforts gradually earned her gratitude, respect, and affection. 31 32 35 40
Before the Black Dragon campaign, Alfia helped Ming Ge develop Flight Magic, learned Spiral Magic from him, and acquired the foundations for an AT Field. During the battle, she used Annihilation: Prayer of Revelation against the Black Dragon and repeatedly used her magic-nullification ability to shield her allies, but doing so erased the seal on her negative skill and caused a severe backlash after the battle. 42 56 70 119 122
Following the campaign, Ming Ge completely removed the sisters’ negative skills. Alfia later transferred from the Hera Familia to the Astraea Familia alongside Meitellia and Elsa. 134 145
Appearance
Alfia is an elegant young woman with exquisitely beautiful pale hair and heterochromatic eyes: one blue and one gold. Her dignified bearing and cold expression give her a queenly presence. 32 67
- Frequently wears a black Lolita dress. 32 90
- Has one blue eye and one gold eye. 32
- Her suppression ritual created black lotus-like inscription markings across her body; these markings vanished when her magic-nullification ability activated. 34 39
- Can appear markedly more relaxed in private clothing, though she remains easily embarrassed around Ming Ge. 66 67
Personality
Alfia presents herself as cold, proud, and tyrannical, but this demeanor is a protective facade. Beneath it, she is compassionate, principled, and intensely devoted to Meitellia. Her strength of will matches her outward severity: while Meitellia is gentle externally but resilient within, Alfia is strong in both respects. 36
She is socially inexperienced, especially around men and physical contact. Treatment sessions that required her to hold Ming Ge’s hand left her flustered despite her attempts to remain composed. Her difficulty expressing concern verbally often causes her to respond with irritation or blunt remarks instead. 35 37 56
Alfia’s guilt over Meitellia’s illness long prevented her from pursuing happiness for herself. Once Meitellia encouraged her to acknowledge her feelings for Ming Ge, Alfia gradually accepted that she could love both her sister and a partner without betraying either bond. The cure for their illness finally allows her to face Meitellia without the same burden of guilt. 65 72 162
Abilities & Skills
Exceptional Combat Talent
Alfia is regarded as the pinnacle of individual talent in the lower world. Her growth rate, magical talent, and combat ability allow her to fight far above her nominal level. 20 71
- A Level 7 adventurer in the Hero Domain who can contend with Level 9 opponents. 20 70
- Can reproduce swordsmanship perfectly after seeing it once. 71
- Possesses melee expertise surpassing Ming Ge’s despite being a professional mage. 92
- Her terminal negative skill formerly limited her endurance and caused escalating aftereffects from battle. 35 122
Negative Skill
Alfia’s unnamed negative skill caused systemic deterioration, severe weakness, and intensified backlash from combat. Its influence was measured as eight times stronger than Meitellia’s condition. 31 35
- Ming Ge’s initial imprint ritual suppressed its effects by 45%. 34
- A later inscription cluster reached 100% suppression, though it could be erased by her magic-nullification ability. 40 122
- The condition was ultimately removed completely. 134
Demon King Vallion
A sound-based offensive spell activated with the ultra-short chant, “Gospel.” Its sound attacks opponents internally, causing organ damage, bleeding, or bodily destruction. 71
- Can unleash immense force from a single syllable. 71
- Functions as her rapid-cast special attack magic. 71
Sound of Silence
Also rendered as Soul’s Tranquility or Soul’s Silence, this additional sound-based magic nullifies magic affecting Alfia, including her own. 34 39 71 122
- Can erase the suppression inscriptions on her body. 39
- Weakens her own magic while active, limiting her output. 34 71
- Was used on allies to block the Black Dragon’s flames. 122
Annihilation: Prayer of Revelation
Alfia’s third magic is a wide-area annihilation spell and her strongest known attack. 34 71
- Can destroy an entire middle-floor Dungeon level. 34 71
- Delivered the final blow against Leviathan. 20 34
- During the Black Dragon battle, its activation produced nine Hero’s Bell chimes and carried enough power to destroy Orario. 119
Learned Magic
Ming Ge taught Alfia several spells and techniques to increase her chances of surviving the Black Dragon campaign.
- Spiral Magic — A high-level non-elemental offensive spell that she mastered within minutes; it can be adapted through changes to magic-power properties. 55 56
- Flight Magic — Grants exceptional aerial mobility, allowing her to traverse the Dungeon with extreme speed. 42 63
- Regulation Magic — Helps restore her physical condition and sustain prolonged expeditions. 63
- Mental Memory Magic-assisted learning — Ming Ge transmitted his understanding of particle manipulation directly to her through magic. 70
AT Field
After learning to transform magic power into particle and soul-particle states, Alfia gained the ability to create an AT Field. 70
- Uses orderly particle motion and phase changes to repel or resist external force. 67 69
- Was developed as defensive preparation for the Black Dragon campaign. 67 70
- Ming Ge intends to change her class to Soul Materialization once she reaches Level 10. 160
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Shadow Ring — A spatial-storage ring given to her by Ming Ge before she departed for the Black Dragon expedition. 113
- Nutrient solution — Used alongside Regulation Magic to replenish her condition during extended Dungeon expeditions. 63
- Alfia declines Ming Ge’s offer to create a weapon for her, identifying herself as a professional mage rather than a weapon user. 91
Relationships
- Meitellia — Her younger twin sister. Alfia’s deepest guilt and strongest protective instincts center on Meitellia; their bond remains her most important relationship. 20 65 162
- Ming Ge — Initially Meitellia’s lover and the healer of Alfia’s condition. Their professional cooperation develops into mutual admiration, romantic feelings, and an intimate relationship. 35 72 161
- Hera — Alfia’s former chief deity and the head of the Hera Familia. Alfia habitually calls her an “old woman,” referring to Hera’s personality rather than appearance. 43 44
- Riveria Ljos Alf — A fellow mage who assists Ming Ge and Alfia with the negative-skill suppression project. Alfia initially dismisses her as a Loki Familia “brat,” but accepts her help. 37
- Elsa — Captain of the Hera Familia during the preparations for the Black Dragon battle. Alfia works with her to improve the Familia’s chances of survival. 63 110
- Astraea — Alfia’s chief deity after her transfer from the Hera Familia to the Astraea Familia. 145
