Background
Ming Ge arrives in Orario as a hungry, frail transmigrant unable to understand either the common language or sacred language. Meitellia of the Hera Familia feeds him, introduces herself, and becomes his first companion in the new world 1 3.
An exceptionally quick learner, Ming Ge studies language and magical theory under Meitellia’s guidance. Within two weeks, he can communicate at a native level and has surpassed her magical knowledge, shifting his focus toward creating magic rather than immediately seeking a Familia blessing 5 11.
His relationship with Meitellia rapidly becomes romantic. He makes protecting her and her family his central goal, particularly after learning of the sisters’ negative skills and the impending Black Dragon expedition 7 12 31.
Appearance
Ming Ge is initially described as frail and lightly built, though prolonged physical regulation and training eventually refine him into a “perfect human” with a body comparable to an adventurer ready to level up 44 97.
- His back bears no Falna while he remains unaffiliated with a Familia 27.
- He later presents himself formally in a black suit, appearing composed, handsome, and commanding as Orario’s leader 153.
- His appearance and presence are enhanced by the Forever Beautiful Boy skill 144 199.
Personality
Ming Ge is calm, analytical, and intensely driven by research. Rather than accepting the established limits of magic, he studies its principles, tests theories in combat, and builds new systems from concepts other people consider impossible 13 29 42.
His ambition is tempered by a strongly personal moral center. He values family above power for its own sake, considers Meitellia’s happiness his highest priority, and repeatedly devotes his knowledge to saving Meitellia, Alfia, and the Hera Familia 16 56 103.
He is also self-aware about the arrogance brought by his knowledge as a transmigrant. He recognizes that inherited knowledge does not make him inherently superior to the people of his new world 74.
His concept of justice is protective and authoritarian rather than universal: he prioritizes his own goals and those under his protection, while openly intending to impose order through personal power 137 138.
“For me, true happiness will always be nothing more than the company of family.” 16
“We will shatter mountains when we encounter mountains, fill seas when we encounter seas, and slay gods when we encounter gods—we will overcome every hardship and rewrite fate.” 12
Abilities & Skills
Innate Magic and Mana Control
Ming Ge develops innate-type magic despite being an ordinary human without a Divine Blessing. His exceptional control lets him cast without chants or conventional magic slots 13 14 27.
- Casts Magic Bullet immediately after his awakening ritual 13.
- Treats mana control as a foundational discipline distinct from conventional spellcasting 29.
- Masters magic power in flowing, particle, and wave states 21 61.
- Uses compression to compensate for magic power whose baseline quality is below that of a Level 1 adventurer 30.
Offensive Spellcraft
Ming Ge designs combat spells by changing mana’s shape, movement, and elemental properties rather than relying on fixed acquired magic.
- Vacuum Blade / Blade Origin Slash — spinning mana blades; elemental variants include Wind Blade Origin Slash 16 18.
- Spiral Magic — includes Rasengan-derived techniques and a developed Rasenshuriken concept 19 30.
- Shockwave: Soundless — a ten-meter-area shockwave that exterminates more than 120 Killer Ants in a single strike, though at high mana cost 24.
- Chidori and Chidori Sharp Spear — lightning-based close- and mid-range attacks tested against Orcs 49.
- Thunderbird — lightning magic capable of clearing monsters across a two-hundred-meter area 93.

Detection and Sensory Magic
Ming Ge’s perception magic can detect monsters, hidden escorts, physical conditions, and Familia signatures 22 31 54.
- Detection Wave — low-consumption sensory pulse used for mapping surroundings and locating targets 21 23.
- Can identify a person’s Familia through the divine-blood signature left by their blessing 54.
- Upgrades his sensory magic to generate a detailed three-dimensional image of Zald’s bodily condition 114.
Regulation and Recovery Magic
Regulation Magic balances, strengthens, and repairs the body and mind. It becomes one of Ming Ge’s principal tools for healing and cultivation 48 97.
- Suppresses Meitellia’s and Alfia’s negative-skill effects through inscription-based magic 31 34 41.
- Adjusts bodily functions through precise mana transmission and physical contact 35 36.
- Repairs severe injuries, including Elsa’s wounds after the Black Dragon battle 123.
- Supports extreme endurance by restoring physical and mental condition between magical exertions 49 54.
- Optimizes the bodies and minds of Astraea Familia trainees before their innate-system training 177.
Movement, Flight, and Defense Magic

- Flight Magic — allows sustained aerial movement by lifting the body through a mana-based magical effect 43 48.
- Flash Step Magic — explosive movement magic that lets him exceed fifty meters per second 48.
- Heart-Protecting Armor — particle-compressed earth-element shielding; later reproduced as defensive rings 49 109.
- Phase Shift Magic / AT Field — redirects incoming force rather than merely resisting it; an earth-element version can withstand attacks at roughly Level 3 strength 61 62.
- His AT Field research reaches the domain of soul-based “ultimate magic” 68.
Soul Materialization and Puppetry
Ming Ge can convert mana and matter into soul material, enabling him to create autonomous dolls, fairies, weapons, and energy bodies 80 83.
- Creates Raiden Shogun, a combat doll with a soul-materialized body, internal magic-stone energy storage, Absorption Magic organs, lightning abilities, and a chest-drawn mithril blade 80 82 83.
- Uses puppets such as Mavis to conduct operations remotely, including clearing Dragon Valley and retrieving Ais 126 133.
- Splits his mental capacity to train, control Raiden Shogun, and remain with Meitellia simultaneously 103.
- Upgrades Raiden Shogun with a Thunder World / Reality Marble and shared memories 150.
- Creates Belsia, a fairy whose soul is described as pure white and limitlessly loyal to him 197.
Magic Systems and Knowledge Transmission
Ming Ge treats magic as a system that can be taught, standardized, and distributed.
- Creates a cultivation system for innate-type magic and gives its text to Riveria 42.
- Establishes temporary magic slots and a Magic Network capable of storing and sharing magic 146.
- Uses Mental Memory Magic to transmit knowledge and magical insight directly to Alfia 70.
- Teaches the Astraea Familia an innate training system built around spiritual training, regulation, gravity, research, unarmed combat, and weapon techniques 177.
Godslaying and Human Emperor Authority
Ming Ge’s later power directly challenges divine authority and is tied to humanity’s collective potential.
- God-Slaying Hero grants anti-god and anti-Evil God effects 143 144.
- Human Emperor gives him authority over humanity, including clairvoyance across past, present, and future possibilities 180 195.
- Can interfere with the gods’ self-sealing system and prevent divine weapons from returning to Heaven 183 195.
- Uses the God-Eater Jade to devour gods and extract or study their power 182 196.
Campione! Authorities
After entering another world, Ming Ge operates as a Campione! with Authority-level abilities 209.
- Replicates and refines Luo Hao’s Flying Phoenix Twelve Divine Palms after witnessing it once 209.
- Uses Starlight, a small world founded on the Human Emperor Authority, for defense and battlefield control 210.
- Magic Quartet combines compatible Authorities to impose sleep, dreams, intoxication, and death through principle-level magic 211 222.
- Karmic Retribution reflects and multiplies attacks, including martial techniques and Authorities 227.
- Combines Authorities into specialized countermeasures against other Campione! and Heretic Gods 237 254.
