Ming Ge nodded.
"This is the first time I've seen your sister care about someone other than me. It isn't just because of me—she cares about you too."
Meitellia said softly, "I love you, and I love my sister too. My love for you is greater than my love for her, but I don't want to choose between the two."
"Choose?"
Ming Ge looked at Meitellia in confusion. He was having trouble understanding what she was thinking.
"Now that you know my sister likes you, what are you going to do?"
Hearing Meitellia's question, Ming Ge tentatively asked,
"Keep my distance?"
"No." Meitellia rejected his answer. "Love can't be suppressed, no matter how hard you try. That would be too painful."
"Especially for my sister. It would be far too cruel."
Someone like Alfia would find it difficult to truly fall in love with anyone.
But if she truly did, she would never accept anyone else.
If the person she loved was someone she should not love, she would suppress her feelings and remain alone for the rest of her life rather than overstep that line.
If Ming Ge were the first to cross that boundary, Alfia would definitely be angry.
