Background / History

Before the Primordial World was opened, the Creation Demon God was one of the Chaos Demon Gods who controlled a Chaos Great Dao. He wielded the Dao of Creation and ranked among the strongest of the three thousand Demon Gods. Pangu considered him one of the few opponents capable of enduring three strikes of the Heaven-Opening Divine Axe. 6

During Pangu's opening of heaven and earth, the Creation Demon God was slain by three axe strikes. His Demon God origin did not wholly dissipate: half of his corpse, containing the complete origin of the Dao of Creation, fell at the Eastern Sea Shore. Pangu sealed the remains with heaven-opening power. 6

Over hundreds of millions of years, the Primordial World continuously refined the half-corpse. Its soul and divinity were destroyed, but the Chaos Demon God's indestructible bodily foundation endured. The sealed remnant became the center of a secret realm saturated with Creation Dao essence and Heaven-Opening baleful intent. 18 19

The corpse's lingering vitality and accumulated Creation essence produced an azure embryo within its core. Its remaining Creation Origin was later extracted by Li Changsheng, while a dormant World Tree seed found beside it was planted in the corpse. The sprouting World Tree absorbed the remnant body's origin, Dao aura, and vitality until the corpse withered into an ordinary husk. 19 20

Appearance

Only half of the Creation Demon God's body remained after the heaven-opening battle, but it was so enormous that it spanned the secret realm and its edges could not be seen even from afar. 18

Chaos Dao of Creation

The Creation Demon God commanded the pinnacle Dao of Creation, an ultimate Chaos Great Dao associated with creation, life, and vast vitality. His remaining core origin retained profound Creation Dao insights even after ages of sealing and erosion. 6 21

• His Creation Origin was innately compatible with Li Changsheng's Creation Green Lotus Dao Body. 6
• Refining less than half of the remaining origin raised Li Changsheng's mastery of the Great Dao of Creation from twenty percent to fifty percent. 21
• The residual Creation essence within his corpse was sufficient to create and nourish a heaven-defying embryo. 19

Chaos Demon God Physique

His physical foundation endured after his divinity and soul origin had been erased by Pangu's heaven-opening power. 19

• His half-corpse remained intact through countless ages of heavenly sealing, temporal erosion, and baleful-energy scouring. 18
• The corpse's flesh, life force, Chaos essence, and Dao aura served as nourishment capable of awakening the dormant World Tree seed. 20
• Once the World Tree sprouted, it absorbed the remaining physical origin and vitality until the remnant body became an ordinary husk. 20

Remains and Legacy

• Creation Demon God's Core Origin — A washbasin-sized emerald source of pure Creation Dao essence, initially hidden beneath Heaven-Opening baleful intent within the corpse. Li Changsheng purified the baleful intent and claimed the origin. 19
• Demon God Embryo — An azure embryo born from the corpse's surviving vitality and the secret realm's accumulated Creation essence. Li Changsheng branded it with his origin essence blood and took it into his origin secret realm. 19 20
• World Tree Seed — A pitch-black dormant seed found beside the Creation Origin. Li Changsheng used the Demon God's remnant body as its seedbed, allowing it to sprout into a World Tree sapling. 19 20

Relationships

• Pangu — Slayer. Pangu killed the Creation Demon God during the opening of heaven and earth, sealed his half-corpse at the Eastern Sea Shore, and later directed Li Changsheng toward it. 6
• Li Changsheng — Successor to the Demon God's Creation Origin. Li Changsheng extracted and refined part of the origin, claimed the corpse-born embryo, and used the remnant body to cultivate the World Tree. 19 20 21
• World Tree — The World Tree sapling was cultivated using the Creation Demon God's depleted body as a seedbed and absorbed its remaining origin and Dao aura. 20

Opportunity at the Eastern Sea

Pangu reveals the Creation Demon God's existence and the location of his sealed remains to Li Changsheng, presenting the origin as an opportunity to complete Li Changsheng's Dao of Creation and potentially make him a new Creation Demon God. 6

Exploration of the Fallen Secret Realm

Li Changsheng postpones entering the secret realm until he has obtained the World-Cleansing Great Dao, as the corpse retains dangerous Heaven-Opening baleful energy and resentment. After driving back Shen Ni, he breaks the ancient seal at the Eastern Sea Shore and enters the realm. 10 15 17 18

Claiming the Remains

Within the secret realm, Li Changsheng discovers the corpse's continuing heartbeat, the corpse-born embryo, the core Creation Origin, and the dormant World Tree seed. He takes the embryo and origin, then uses the remaining corpse to grow the World Tree. 18 19 20

Li Changsheng's Breakthrough

Li Changsheng returns to Mount Zhou and refines a portion of the Creation Demon God's origin under Pangu's protection. This causes the Creation Green Lotus to bloom its first petal, advances Li Changsheng's Creation Dao mastery to fifty percent, and elevates him to the Mixed Realm Golden Immortal realm. 21
