After Chief Executive Chen returned the salute, he looked Lin Tingzhi over a few times and said solemnly, "Executive Lin, judging by your aura, you have already surpassed your former self. I must congratulate you on attaining the Dao of Seeking Completeness."
Lin Tingzhi said, "In reply to Chief Executive, Lin's pursuit of the Dao went fairly smoothly this time. After emerging from seclusion, I saw the records left from the previous court deliberation. I felt that the Dao Law I had attained might be of benefit to the Profound Court and resolve certain matters, so I came to see you at once."
As he spoke, he offered an apology and slowly unfolded his fundamental Dao Law. At once, a profound and wondrous qi mechanism descended into the great hall.
Chief Executive Chen and Executive Changsun immediately sensed it.
Chief Executive Chen observed it for a moment, then said in a deep voice, "Executive Lin is being too modest. This Dao Law will surely be of immense benefit to our Profound Court."
After Lin Tingzhi attained the Dao of Seeking Completeness, the fundamental Dao Law he obtained was called the "Spirit-Mechanism Heavenly String."
When this Dao Law operated, his own qi and intent would merge into the heavenly mechanisms, allowing him to continuously pluck and turn them, causing the Dao mechanisms around him to change. At first hearing, this might have sounded rather ordinary, but in truth, it was extraordinarily formidable.
One had to know that all things between Heaven and Earth were born according to certain Dao mechanisms and existed by attaching themselves to those mechanisms. If those mechanisms could be changed, then the things attached to and transformed by them would inevitably change as well. If they were changed passively, the result might not be very pleasant.
