After some time, the radiance around him gradually receded. Changsun Tingzhi's aura was already different from before. Though he stood there before them, his presence drifted and fluctuated, as if he were not truly in this world.
Yet at that moment, his figure suddenly vanished for an instant. After a while, it reappeared—but when he disappeared, everyone could instead sense his aura. When he existed there, however, he seemed illusory and unsteady.
There was no doubt that, at this moment, he had attained a state where yin and yang complemented one another, where reality and illusion gave birth to each other. His spirit and worldly body mutually engendered and transformed one another; ordinary methods and ritual artifacts could no longer restrain him.
Zhang Yu watched Changsun Tingzhi. The inheritances of True Law cultivation differed, and each person's method for breaking through a realm was not necessarily the same. Apart from vague records in Dao texts, this was the first time he had witnessed someone else breaking through this barrier.
