Zhang Yu was wary of Great Chaos as well, but he was not as apprehensive of it as Primordial Simplicity Daoist was. Great Chaos was also within the Great Dao; its workings could be traced.
Yet after the many innate spirits were born from Origin Void, they found themselves and the possibility of ascending the Dao. Once they suffered the contamination of Great Chaos, however, their own Dao methods transformed into the Great Dao of Chaos, and they lost themselves. Naturally, they were incomparably wary of Great Chaos.
But in truth, their very origins could not be severed from Great Chaos. Blindly avoiding it was not necessarily the best method. Those like the Evil God Boy could in fact be seen as having made a certain attempt.
To the many innate spirits, this was steeped in filth and impurity. But in the Evil God Boy's own view, he had carved out a path that did not fear Great Chaos, and so he wished to share such benefits with everyone.
As for himself, the great increase in his strength was inseparable from his inquiry into Great Chaos, and it could even diminish the transformations of the Heavenly Dao while enhancing him. Yet from what he saw now, so long as one understood the method, it could likewise be put to one's own use.
Still, Great Chaos was Great Chaos after all. The slightest carelessness would lead to being invaded and seized by it. He did not relax his vigilance because of this.
Moreover, unlike the others, he had also mastered the Power of Controlling the Center. So long as opposing forces still existed in the world, he could reconcile the two well. At the very least, for now, he need not worry that any problem would arise from this.
