That Is Mine!
At the heart of the "Shattered Graveyard," on the observation array of Blackstone Fortress, a piercing alarm sounded.
"Sir... Sir! A massive Warp travel signal has been detected! The energy reading... is ridiculously high! It's... it's hurtling straight towards us!"
The sensor operator's voice trembled with fear.
Huron abruptly stood up from his throne and rushed to the control panel.
On the holographic star map, a dense cluster of points of light, so dense it was almost unbelievable, moved at an incredible speed and along a perfectly straight trajectory.
Breaking through the surrounding Chaos and mist, they entered his "hunting ground".
"How is this possible?! How could he get here so fast?! And he rushed straight here?!"
Huron's one eye widened, and his theory that "Guilliman would procrastinate" instantly collapsed.
But he was, after all, a warlord who had weathered many storms, and after the initial shock, a cruel excitement surged up within him.
"Perfect timing! Saves me from waiting any longer!"
All units, proceed as planned to welcome the 'guests'! Let them taste what it's like to fight against us Red Corsairs in the Warp!
He firmly believed that, on his home turf, the dominance of Blackstone Fortress and his familiarity with the environment would be enough to make up for some of the numerical disadvantage.
As the massive shadow of the Ultramar fleet completely enveloped the wrecked airspace, Huron issued the attack signal.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Several heavy cannons, which had been concealed within the large wreckage, fired first, sending thick energy beams and solid shells hurtling towards the fleet's vanguard.
However, these attacks struck the reinforced Gellar Field, merely creating violent ripples without causing any substantial damage.
"Now! For the Dark Gods! For plunder and slaughter! Seize that Primarch!"
Huron's roar echoed across all the Red Corsairs warships via the communication channels.
In an instant, the Red Corsairs fleet, which had been lurking behind countless wrecks, swarmed out!
Warships painted in scarlet and jet-black and decorated with terrifying symbols rushed in from all directions like sharks smelling blood.
More numerous were assault craft and landing craft equipped with berserkers, and even a number of individuals blessed by Chaos who could jump short distances through the Warp.
Screaming like locusts, they charged toward the Ultramar fleet, attempting to board them and engage in boarding action.
More than 30,000 Red Corsairs launched a surprise attack in this territory they had cultivated for a long time, a territory filled with Chaos energy, which they believed to be invincible.
They could almost see the scene of capturing the Primarch and receiving supreme blessings.
On the Macragge's Honour, Calgar walked to Guilliman's side, his Power Armour clanging with each steady step.
"Father, the enemy has appeared, and their attack looks quite ferocious. Please give instructions."
Guilliman didn't even leave the viewing window; his gaze seemed fixed on the silent Blackstone Fortress in the distance.
Upon hearing this, he merely curled his lips into an almost cruel smile.
"How do we do it?"
He turned around, stretched his neck, and the golden flames of the Emperor's Sword flickered faintly within its scabbard. "What else can we do? Come with me, let's go outside and stretch our muscles."
He strode towards the bridge exit, his voice carrying clearly throughout the ship and even the entire fleet:
"I'd like to see if these ignorant brats can take a beating!"
The order is issued immediately!
"For Macragge! For Guilliman!!!"
The earth-shattering battle cry was not transmitted through communicators, but directly through Psionic Energy resonance and public channels, resounding in the souls and auditory sensors of every Ultramarines!
The 300,000 blue giants, who had long been unable to restrain themselves, broke away from the fleet formation like a torrent of steel bursting its banks, and took the initiative to meet the oncoming red tide!
A Red Corsairs berserker, blessed by Khorne and piloting a modified assault boat.
A majestic golden-blue figure suddenly broke free from the warship's protection and was exposed directly in the void.
In his ecstasy, his reason was completely overwhelmed by his bloodlust.
"For the Blood God! The Primarch's head is mine!"
He roared, pushing the assault boat's engine to overload, and crashed into Guilliman like a crimson meteor.
He didn't even have time to think about why the Primarch "fly," nor did he notice the suffocating blue ocean behind Primarch.
Just as the assault boat was about to enter what it thought was its "attack range," a dark blue figure suddenly appeared from the side at an even faster speed!
He was just an ordinary Ultramarines Vanguard; he didn't even use ranged weapons.
By simply overclocking the thrusters on the Power Fist, the "Smart Atoms" within his body instantly pushed his power and speed to their limits.
He was like a human cannonball, crashing hard and accurately into the side armor of the assault boat!
"Bang—Crack!!!"
The sickening sound of metal twisting and cracking echoed throughout the channel!
That assault boat, capable of withstanding light artillery fire, had its armor pierced by a single punch from this Ultramarines using brute force.
The structure collapsed instantly. The Red Corsairs inside didn't even have time to scream before it turned into a blooming flower of flesh and blood in the vacuum, and was then completely swallowed up by the subsequent energy turbulence.
This horrifying scene was clearly transmitted back to Blackstone Fortress and to all the Red Corsairs charging ahead, through the observation system and the eyes of the survivors.
The channel was instantly filled with disbelief, horror, and curses in various languages:
"What the hell is going on?!"
"That damn thing is called Space Marines?!"
"Who the hell can tell me! Why can he fly?! You fucking tell me!"
"That power! To blow up an assault boat with a single punch?! How is that possible?!"
Panic, like the deadliest virus, began to spread among the notoriously fierce Red Corsairs.
Their anticipated boarding action and hand-to-hand combat turned into a one-sided, aggressive space battle initiated by the enemy!
Where has our traditional boarding maneuvering gone?
Those blue giants could not only fly at incredible speeds, but their individual strength was also absurdly high. Their perfect coordination made them like a tsunami of killing machines!
Inside Blackstone Fortress, Huron Blackheart's one eye almost popped out of its socket.
He stared intently at the rapidly dimming dots on the screen, representing the destruction of his own units.
And that seemingly endless blue ocean, which was visibly swallowing the red waves.
He felt a wave of dizziness, and the two hearts in his chest, strengthened by Chaos, were pounding wildly, almost about to explode.
He lunged at the communications station, connected to an encrypted channel aimed at the Eye of Terror, and, disregarding all decorum, roared into it:
"Abaddon! You fucking bastard!! What the hell is going on?!"
His voice was distorted by extreme anger and fear:
"They can fly! Countless times! Do you understand? Do you know that feeling?!"
They are far more numerous and more terrifying than the Tyranids!
I've been in the Warp for so long, and I never imagined I'd see a 'blue' sea one day!
On the other end of the communication line, Warmaster Abaddon, who had just received some fragmented intelligence and was still in shock, tried to remain calm:
Huron, calm down!
I'm gathering intelligence, and I don't know what happened in Ultramar in such a short time. They really did drive me out with incredible speed..."
"What the hell are you trying to calm down for!"
Huron lost it, spitting almost onto the communicator, "Abaddon! I'll fuck your Primarch!"
You wait!
If I manage to leave this godforsaken place alive today, I'm quitting this Red Corsairs business and I'll go find you in the Eye of Terror first!
I'm going to personally chop your hard-boiled head off with Power Axe and use it as a football!!!
He practically roared his last vicious curse, and then, without waiting for Abaddon's response, smashed the communicator's switch.
"Fuck you! Fuck you!!"
Huron, panting heavily, paced back and forth in front of the command platform like a trapped beast, cursing incessantly.
He knew that his meticulously planned ambush had become a huge joke in the face of the enemy's absolute strength and completely unconventional tactics.
He suddenly looked up and roared at his equally ashen-faced subordinates, "What the hell are you all standing there for?! Open all the defense systems you can!"
The shield's power is at maximum! You bunch of idiots, you think you can go out and fight them?!
"Can we even compete?! They can fly! One punch from them could blow up a ship!"
He pointed at the Ultramarines on the screen, slaughtering the Red Corsairs like cutting vegetables, his voice shrill with despair:
"Retreat! Immediately! Everyone retreat to Blackstone Fortress! Activate fortress defenses and close all external access routes! Quickly!"
Capturing the Primarch, offering sacrifices to the Dark Gods, grand ambitions... all of these were thrown to the back of Huron's mind at this moment.
He had only one thought in his mind: run!
Hiding inside this sturdy tortoise shell, hoping this damned Blackstone Fortress could keep out the terrifying blue ocean outside, and that Primarch who seemed even more dreadful than the legends suggested.
In the void outside, the collapse of the Red Corsairs was inevitable.
A small number of brave or fanatical individuals are still resisting, but many more have begun to disregard orders, turn their ships around, and attempt to escape this star system that has suddenly become a slaughterhouse.
However, their escape seemed futile in the face of the Ultramarines Legion, which completely overwhelmed them in speed, strength, numbers, and morale.
Guilliman hovered in the void, his crimson cloak billowing in the aftershocks of energy.
He did not personally participate in the clearing out of the miscellaneous soldiers, but instead kept his gaze firmly fixed on the building that had begun to move slowly.
They attempted to slide backward into the Blackstone Fortress, which was shrouded in a denser, Chaos fog.
His lips curled into that signature smile, one that exuded absolute confidence and aggression.
"Trying to run?"
"Who gave you permission to take my things and run away?!"
