Divinity

The higher a deity's Warp rank and the greater their power, the easier it is for them to be consumed by their own divinity.

Human nature will be gradually suppressed until it disappears completely, ultimately turning people into puppets of the rules.

Even Emperor of Mankind are not exempt from this law.

Tens of thousands of years ago, before Emperor of Mankind ascended to the highest position, they still possessed their own humanity.

He would even take Oll Persson along to steal sheep, and the sheep he stole were Oll Persson's.

That spontaneity and vibrancy made them no different from ordinary people.

Even in the 30K era, Emperor would still joke with their children, displaying a father's tenderness and authority.

But now, after ten thousand years, the Emperor sits on his Golden Throne, his divinity constantly increasing, and his status constantly rising.

If Guilliman hadn't used the power of the Material Universe to help suppress it, his humanity would have been completely suppressed long ago.

Their divinity can reach the pinnacle of the Warp, and they could ascend to become the fifth Chaos Gods at any time.

They are completely reduced to pure destructive drive, losing all sense of self and emotion.

This is the destiny that no supreme deity can escape.

But Asuryan defied this destiny.

"You're right, the struggle between divinity and humanity is an eternal theme for all gods."

Asuryan nodded slightly, her tone becoming calmer. Without any concealment, she laid her cards on the table with Guilliman, revealing a truth that shocked both of them.

"Honestly, the reason I've been able to retain my humanity and let it override my divinity is thanks to the birth of Slaanesh."

The moment the word "Slaanesh" fell from Asuryan's mouth.

Guilliman's eyes suddenly narrowed, and Kaine beside him also abruptly raised his head; both of them were completely stunned.

It's important to understand that this is Warp, not the Material Universe.

In the Warp, even mentioning the name of the Chaos Gods could attract its attention.

This attracted the erosion and retribution of Chaos forces.

Even the mighty Guilliman wouldn't dare to so recklessly call Slaanesh by his name in the Warp.

But Asuryan said it so casually, and the Garden of Nurgle remained peaceful and serene.

There was no fluctuation, no invasion of Chaos forces, no Whisper or gazes from Slaanesh.

It's as if what was just mentioned wasn't that terrifying Chaos Gods, but just an ordinary name.

Guilliman was shocked; he could clearly sense that the barriers of this space were incredibly strong.

The pure, orderly Psionic Energy formed an insurmountable barrier, completely isolating it from any outside observation.

Even a being like Slaanesh, at the pinnacle of the Warp, could not hear the slightest sound here, nor perceive anything about this place.

Seeing the shocked expressions on their faces, Asuryan smiled faintly and slowly explained:

"This is not an ordinary Warp, but a paradise formed by the convergence of the power fragments and divine essence of all the gods of the Ancient Eldar."

It is the last pure land belonging exclusively to the Aeldari Gods.

"This space is constructed from pure positive Psionic Energy, and it carries the will and power of all the Eldar."

It is the ultimate order, the ultimate purity, untouched by any Chaos forces, unaffected by any warp of the Warp.

"Even if the Four Chaos Gods were to personally descend, they would not be able to break through the barrier here, nor would they be able to glimpse even a fraction of what lies here. Therefore, here, there is no need to worry about the gaze of any Chaos Gods."

As soon as she finished speaking, Asuryan raised her hand in an inviting gesture and said gently:

"The scenery here is quite pleasant. We don't need to stand here to talk. Follow me forward, find a place to sit down, and we can discuss it in detail later."

Guilliman and Kaine exchanged a glance, both seeing shock and gravity in each other's eyes.

Then, following Asuryan, they stepped into this sacred Garden of Nurgle.

The smooth, shiny ground beneath my feet was warm and comfortable, the surrounding scenery was breathtaking, and pure positive Psionic Energy surrounded me.

This allowed Guilliman, whose body and mind had been tense from years of fighting, to relax like never before. Even Kaine's violent aura dissipated considerably at this moment.

The two followed Asuryan through a sea of blooming flowers, across the tranquil Lake of Sorrow, and over the rugged hills, finally arriving at a pure white and elegant pavilion.

The pavilion is constructed of Wraithbone, with simple yet elegant lines. Ancient Eldar runes are carved on the top, emitting a faint halo that guards this small world.

Several exquisite tables and chairs were placed in the pavilion, made of warm, smooth materials that felt comfortable to the touch.

Upon entering the pavilion, Asuryan casually sat down, while Guilliman and Kaine actively activated their powers.

He shrunk his massive frame to about 2.3 meters, similar in size to Asuryan, no longer displaying his usual giant-like demeanor, but instead exuding a more peaceful aura.

Asuryan looked at the two of them, a gentle smile on her face, and took the initiative to ask:

"You must be tired from your journey. Why not have a cup of tea and rest for a while? Do you prefer black tea or green tea?"

Looking at the peaceful and harmonious scenery around him, at the colorful and serene Garden of Nurgle, Guilliman felt a slight stirring in his heart and smiled as he replied:

"Then let's have green tea. It's light and elegant, and it matches the scenery here better."

Asuryan nodded slightly, raised her hand and waved it, and a set of exquisite jade tea set appeared out of thin air on the stone table.

The jade is warm and smooth, translucent and flawless, and exudes a faint fragrance.

He raised his hand and gently twisted it, and pure Psionic Energy transformed into a clear spring, which flowed into the teapot. He then lit a gentle sacred fire and slowly brewed the tea.

In just a moment, a delicate aroma of tea filled the air, refreshing and invigorating.

Asuryan personally poured a cup of clear tea for Guilliman; the emerald green tea soup was clear and bright, and its aroma was irresistible.

When it was Kaine's turn, Asuryan showed no courtesy whatsoever.

He casually tossed the teapot full of tea to Kaine, his face showing a nonchalant attitude, and he didn't even bother to pay attention to his younger brother anymore.

Kaine looked at the teapot thrown at him, his lips twitching slightly, but he dared not show the slightest dissatisfaction.

He obediently extended both hands to receive the teapot and picked it up.

Ignoring all etiquette, he drank it down in one gulp to calm the turbulent emotions churning within him.

After a cup of tea, Guilliman's shock gradually subsided. Looking at Asuryan, he finally couldn't help but ask:

"Your Majesty the Phoenix King, what you just said about your current state is related to Slaanesh. Please enlighten me."

Kaine put down the teapot, looked up, and stared at Asuryan with a complex expression, full of doubt and confusion. He couldn't help but speak:

"Brother, you've changed. You've changed so much. You're nothing like the person you were ten thousand years ago."

Ten thousand years ago, Asuryan was aloof, arrogant, and detached from worldly affairs, maintaining the airs of a god-king.

He follows rules and destiny in everything, is serious and aloof.

But now he is carefree, vibrant, and humane; he speaks casually and even has a touch of shrewishness, making him completely different from the brother I remember.

Hearing Kaine's words, Asuryan looked at her younger brother, a hint of helplessness flashing in her eyes.

He shook his head gently, his tone tinged with melancholy, and slowly said:

"Kaine, you're still as impatient as ever, as disappointing as ever. Have you forgotten what we were like when we were first born?"

"The person I am now is the most authentic me, the person I was at the beginning."

Kaine was stunned upon hearing this, his eyes filled with confusion.

He was merely a fragment of a god, having endured countless ages and suffered the erosion of Chaos in the Warp.

Countless battles and destruction had long since erased his distant memories, making him forget what he and his brother looked like at the beginning of their lives.

All I remember is the slaughter and rage of the past ten thousand years, and my once cold and majestic god-king brother.

Seeing Kaine's bewildered expression, Asuryan understood and was not surprised. She slowly began to recount the ancient, sealed-away story, and her past as the Phoenix King.

"In the history of the Aeldari Gods, I was placed in the position of King of the Gods from the moment of my birth."

"I am the embodiment of order, the common lord of the Eldar Gods, and the guardian of all things."

From the moment of my birth, I have been endowed with too much authority, too much mission, and too much faith.
