Little Nurmengard
After a series of messy events, Headmaster Dumbledore told the young wizards to pack their bags and get out of here.
Oren did not leave Hogwarts, but instead had an intense meeting with the two old men.
The Headmaster's Office was packed with people, with both of his old henchmen basically there, except for Sirius Black, who was now guarding Harry like a sheepdog.
Oren said, "Our gang..."
Dumbledore: "Ahem"
"The purpose of our team is to rob and plunder..."
Dumbledore: "Ahem"
"It's about fighting the You-Know-Who," Oren said. "Old Deng's in a meeting, what are you reading in those France Wizarding World tabloids? What, you want to Cleansweep France and reclaim your power?"
Grindelwald...
"Ahem, now that Tom's return is a done deal, what's that Fudge going to do?"
Dumbledore shook his head and said, "I spread the news, but he blocked it and vehemently denied it, hiding his head like an ostrich."
"No, this kind of insect can't be Minister for Magic," Oren suggested. "How about we give him a more respectable position?"
"That's right, isn't that the solution?" one of the old men Grindelwald brought along chimed in.
"Cough, cough, cough," Dumbledore said disapprovingly, "Child, you can't do that."
Oren scoffed. "Fine, then I'll have to fight Fudge, okay?"
"Not going to take direct action? Young Master Oren, then what should we do?" Will scratched his head in confusion.
"Send Sirius Black to lead Galleon and give Fudge his full support."
"Ah?"
Oren explained, "We need to get behind Fudge before we can stab him in the back!"
Everyone...
Dumbledore and Grindelwald gave Oren a satisfied look.
Moody said, "I have to remind you, Fudge is targeting Dumbledore and his supporters; he won't believe Sirius Black."
"Simple," Oren shrugged. "Just form a New Order of the Phoenix, throw Headmaster Dumbledore out to fight Fudge, and put the New Order of the Phoenix under Sirius Black's name. Wouldn't that be great?"
Dumbledore: "Cough cough cough"
Grindelwald: "Well, I think it's not entirely impossible to call them the New Saints."
Everyone...
Moody and Lupin exchanged a glance. What kind of people are these?
Mr. Arthur said, "What will happen after Fudge steps down? Will you install a new minister? I think Amelia Bornes would be good; she's an upright person."
Kingsley suggested, "Rufus Scrimgeour would also work; he's an Auror."
Grindelwald said, "Fudge hasn't sorted things out yet, it's too early to talk about this, let's adjourn the meeting."
After the meeting adjourned, Oren and the two old men held a smaller meeting.
Grindelwald said, "Young man, do you have any suggestions for the Minister for Magic?"
"Just grab any rice bucket, it's that simple, just like how Headmaster Dumbledore helped Fudge back then."
"Ahem," Dumbledore explained, "I didn't, I didn't. It's because I didn't want to be Minister for Magic, and Barty Crouch..."
Grindelwald said, "Alright, alright, stop talking. Look how anxious you are, it's almost red-hot."
Oren...
"Old Deng, what happened to the base you promised? Is it finished yet? We have a hundred or so people here, we can't all stay at Hogwarts, or the school will even continue operating."
Grindelwald said, "Actually, Hogwarts is really good; its defenses are very strong."
Oren said, "This is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, it's about to open, not the Hogwarts camp."
Grindelwald...
"Alright, the base is finished. I'll show you around."
The three stepped out of the portal, Oren quipped, "A base? You bought a manor after all that political upheaval?"
Grindelwald scoffed. "You're so ignorant. This manor is just a cover. The castle is nearby. I'll take you there."
The three hadn't walked far when a small castle came into view.
"Wow..." Oren exclaimed, realizing what she meant. "This looks familiar... Let me check the book..."
"Isn't this just a miniature version of Nurmengard? How come you've developed an attachment to it after spending so much time in jail?"
Grindelwald...
Dumbledore said, "Nurmengard was actually the base he built for his entrepreneurial endeavors."
"I'm reporting him!" Oren raised his hand and said, "Principal, look at him, he's still got that entrepreneurial spirit!"
Grindelwald explained, "It wasn't me, I didn't do it, don't talk nonsense."
Dumbledore said, "I trust you won't go and disrupt the Wizarding World."
"Albus!"
"Gellert!"
Oren interrupted, "Alright, if you guys aren't going to start a business, then I will!"
The two old Deng...
The three of them walked around for a while, Oren remarked, "This castle looks nice, but it's just a rough draft."
Grindelwald said, "The furniture is still being moved."
Dumbledore suggested, "Should we cast a Fidelius Charm here?"
"No need," Oren waved his hand dismissively. "The Order of the Phoenix will never surrender until you two old men are defeated."
The two old Deng...
"Something's not right, where's my Gryffindor's Sword?" Oren held out his hand to Dumbledore. "Hmph, I was so busy I forgot, you almost got away with it."
Dumbledore handed over the sword with a pained expression.
"Wuhu~ All that's missing is a Hufflepuff's Cup!"
Grindelwald said with a displeased look, "Kid, you'll have to face off against Tom, Albus's good student, sooner or later. Come on, let me give you a special training session."
The two old men dragged Oren to an open space, and at the start of the duel, Oren struggled to keep up.
But later, the two veterans showed him what it meant to be experienced and cunning, using various sneak attacks and combos to leave him speechless.
Grindelwald wiped his wand and said, "His combat skills are too poor; he needs to practice more."
Oren lay on the ground shouting, "Where's Snape?! I can't beat Old Man Duncan, but I can beat Snape?!"
Dumbledore said, "He went undercover with Tom."
"Huh? An undercover agent?" Oren asked, puzzled. "Snape is right under your nose, how can You-Know-Who be at ease?"
He told Tom that he was an undercover agent for me.
Oren...
"Goodness, a top-tier double agent, huh! That's better than you two old guys being completely clueless."
Grindelwald: "Hey kid, if you can't beat me in a duel, why are you resorting to personal attacks?"
Oren...
Back at Hogwarts, the two old men waved their hands, and their troops began moving to Little Nurmengard.
The House-elf in the kitchen breathed a sigh of relief; these hundred or so gluttons could eat far more than the little wizards.
Before Oren could even settle into his new office and enjoy it, Percy walked in carrying a bunch of empty bottles.
Oren...
"I heard you've improved, congratulations!"
Percy gulped down a mouthful of whiskey and said, "Damn Crouch, couldn't he have come later? Otherwise, I wouldn't be stuck working as Fudge's secretary."
"Too much work, too little pay; the minister just makes empty promises and expects you to eat your fill."
"He even said I was capable at work, but Fudge was clearly trying to spy on our family. Now Fudge will be making trouble for everyone connected to Headmaster Dumbledore."
Oren...
Where did my polite Prefect Percy go?
Percy said, "That person is already..."
Oren...
