The three little ones watched with long faces as Hagrid wailed and wept over the dead spider. After hastily burying Aragog, Oren handed Hagrid a bunch of wine and slipped away.
Harry had barely settled into his dorm room when Dumbledore had logged on overnight, pulled him away again.
Early in the morning Oren, still half asleep, asked, "What did Headmaster Dumbledore say to you yesterday?"
"I talked a lot about the You-Know-Who, and I even said that we must kill You-Know-Who, but the principal thinks that you might be the one who ends up killing You-Know-Who."
"That bald guy is tough to kill, Harry, trust me. Once I find Horcrux, I'll sweep him into the dustbin of history in no time."
Harry...
Ron ran back to the dorm and said, "I just had a brilliant idea! Harry, haven't you always wanted the old bat to stay away from Aunt Lily? Why don't you become his godfather?"
Oren nodded and said, "So you're planning to use etiquette to suppress Snape? That's a good idea, but you underestimate his determination to improve."
Somewhat disappointed, Harry sighed and asked, "Thanks anyway, but how did you come up with this idea?"
Ron explained, "I ran into Old Bat when I went out. He was carrying a bunch of things and looked like he was going out. You all know, Old Bat doesn't usually leave the cave unless he's going to see Aunt Lily."
Harry!!!
Watching him rush out of the dormitory, Oren and Ron exchanged a confused look.
A few seconds later Dumbledore emerged from the fire.
"Kids, do you know where Harry went? I need to talk to him."
Ron replied, "He went to stop Professor Snape from seeing Aunt Lily."
Oren quipped, "You know how it is, Principal. It's always been a difficult choice between loyalty to the country and filial piety."
Dumbledore...
The next time I saw Harry was in the Hospital Wing.
Madam Pomfrey said angrily, "It's you guys again! We shouldn't have assigned you to Gryffindor in the first place; we should have sent you straight to the Hospital Wing!"
Everyone...
Hermione asked, "I heard you went to see Professor Snape? What happened to you?"
Harry explained, "I heard Malfoy crying as I passed a washroom, and, to use Oren's words, he cried like a slapped fart."
Harry forced a grimace across his bruised face. "I knew when I stumbled upon this that only one of us would make it out standing, but don't worry, Malfoy's in worse shape than me."
Oren retorted, "Dude, stop being so stubborn. Malfoy isn't lying in the Hospital Wing."
Harry...
"Malfoy mainly used a spell to ambush me! If it weren't for that Leg-Locker Curse, I would have knocked his front teeth out."
Ron said in a low voice, "That's a small matter. The main problem is that your reputations are ruined. Now Moaning Myrtle is telling everyone that two boys fought over her."
Harry...
Hermione sighed and asked, "How many days were you put in solitary confinement, and how many points did you lose?"
Harry counted on his fingers, "Ones, tens, hundreds... over a hundred points! His detention will last until after the Quidditch Match."
Three people...
Hermione said angrily, "Gryffindor is going to be fourth in the House Cup this time!"
Oren comforted her, "Fourth place is pretty good, at least you're still in the top ten, right?"
There are only four colleges in total!
Oren...
Ron asked worriedly, "What about the competition?"
Harry waved his hand dismissively and said, "Ginny was just here; she'll be my Seeker."
Ron squinted and asked, "She came all by herself?"
Harry wiped the cold sweat from his brow and said, "She's here on behalf of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team."
"I see~" Ron's eyes were still full of doubt.
"Ahem~ If you have something to say, go back to the common room and talk behind closed doors," Oren said, pointing to Dumbledore, who was peeking out from behind the door and still eating sunflower seeds.
The three little ones...
Dumbledore...
Time flew by, and the day of the competition arrived.
Oren was supervising Will and Lupin as they buried the stubborn Acromantula back into the ground to compost.
A flash of green light, and an Acromantula was instantly paralyzed, rolling around on the ground.
Will flattered, "Young Master's Killing Curse is truly powerful."
"Of course, I won't take its whole life if I say I'll take half of it." Oren cast another Killing Curse, finally sending the Acromantula to its death.
"You guys continue dealing with the spiders here, I'm going back to check the match results."
Once Oren was out of sight, Will threw down his shovel and called to Lupin, "Stop digging, just leave it here. Nature will take care of it."
Lupin...
At the Quidditch Pitch entrance, Oren exclaimed in surprise, "Harry! Why aren't you in Snape's solitary confinement?"
"I learned something from Trelawney," Harry said angrily. "The Prophecy from back then was something he told Voldemort."
"I not only threatened him to lift my confinement, but I also told my mom about it."
Oren nodded and said, "That makes sense. Then why does Ron also look so angry?"
Harry's expression changed from anger to embarrassment.
Ron, brandishing his claws, said, "I'm working so hard to help you find a solution, and you're messing with my sister!"
If George and Fred hadn't graduated, Ron would definitely have dragged them into a three-way trial for Harry.
"I even generously approved of your relationship, so can't you promise me you won't kiss each other in public?"
Ginny pouted and said, "When you and Lavender are locked in a passionate embrace, you can't be separated."
Ron...
After casually dealing with these few people, Oren quickly ran to Snape's Office.
At this moment, the old bat slumped dejectedly in his seat, and the office seemed three times darker than usual.
"My dear Half-Blood Prince professor, are you giving up already? Are you going to be defeated by James's little brat again?"
Oren's playful nature wouldn't allow Snape to give up being Harry's stepfather.
Snape didn't reply, still slumped weakly in his chair like a bat that hadn't eaten for three days.
"Professor, for now, you can only complain to Aunt Lily."
Some light returned to Snape's eyes.
Oren pressed his advantage, saying, "Tell me all about your efforts over the years, embellishing them as much as possible, just in case you can't cry. You also need a little help."
Snape downed the mixture of vodka, chili, and Felix Felicis in one gulp, and immediately became emotional, bursting into tears.
He had just stood up when Oren stopped him, saying, "Wait a minute, it's not quite ready yet!"
Snape was first knocked down, and then rolled around on the ground like dough several times.
"Tsk tsk tsk~ Professor, you look like you just ran back from Verdun, people would believe you."
Snape...
As soon as they returned to the common room, Hermione ran over and said, "I bet you went to see Professor Snape."
"Impressive! She's got the makings of a great detective!"
Hermione grabbed Oren's ear and said, "You're just stirring things up!"
Oren...
