Invitation
Oren remarked, "Those two are planting trees with Nicolas Flamel, tsk tsk, their enthusiasm almost made Nicolas Flamel's metal puppet lose its job."
Ron...
With a bang, Kreacher flashed to Oren's side and said, "Master Oren, the oranges you requested have arrived."
Kreacher was holding an orange that was half the size of his body.
"Also, the Quidditch World Cup tickets that Young Master requested have been arranged; they're all the most expensive ones, just as Young Master requested."
Oren nodded in satisfaction; Kreacher's efficiency was higher than that of the House-elf —George, Fred, and Ron— combined.
"Come to Kreacher, look at the little suit I prepared for you."
"No! Master Oren, Kreacher is still useful. Don't send Kreacher away!"
Oren???
"Ahem," Ron explained, "Giving House-elf clothes means giving them freedom; for a traditional House-elf like Kreacher, that's a disgrace."
Oren's lips twitched. "Kreacher, I didn't mean to insult you. Isn't it your tattered clothes that are making me look bad?"
Ron took the suit jacket Oren handed him, looking completely bewildered.
"Alright, I'll give the suit to Ron. Kreacher, you go and take it back now."
Ron stared blankly as his suit jacket was snatched from his hands.
"Oren, you've probably changed. You don't usually try to fool me like before. In the end, I'm still your useless brother. Oh well, at least I could help you out."
"Kreacher!" Oren ordered, "Go make that show-off Ron a cup of green tea."
Ron...
"Elbow! After you finish your green tea, come with me to pick up Hermione. We can get ready for the Quidditch World Cup!"
"But Oren, Mom sent me to catch George and Fred."
"Going to pick them up was also at Mrs. Molly's behest. The twins are making progress in alchemy right now, Mrs. Molly will understand."
Ron: "Let's go! What are we waiting for? Let's go quickly, open the portal, and come back fast!"
"What's the rush? We'd better bring Ginny with us, otherwise what kind of people would we be if just the two of us went? Would that blond-haired bastard kidnap someone's daughter?"
Ron: "Why didn't we ask Dad to come along? Besides, one of us is red-haired and the other is black, okay?"
"Mr. Arthur and Mrs. Molly are very busy. They could have taken Percy with them, but he's off to work at the Ministry of Magic, isn't he?"
"Let's go first, then we'll open a portal and Ginny over," Oren said without further ado, opening the portal and dragging Ron inside.
Ron, who knew Oren was unreliable, struggled frantically, but to no avail.
"Pah, pah, pah~ I knew it!" Ron scoffed. "Oren, look at this desert! I'm not even asking if this is still London, I'm just asking if this is still in Europe?"
"Is there something wrong with your teleportation portal? Why does it always take me to the ends of the earth?"
Oren pushed aside the camel that was baring its teeth at him and said, "You can question my alchemy skills, but you can't question my spells. Headmaster Dumbledore also uses portals, and he's always successful."
Ron rolled his dead fish eyes and said, "How about we go back to London first? At least back to Europe."
Oren assured her, "Don't worry, there won't be any problems next time!"
"By the way, Ron, since we're already here, we should take something back with us. It wouldn't be right to go to Hermione's house empty-handed, would it?"
"What's there to bring back, Oren? Just grab a handful of sand and say you brought it from another continent?"
"Isn't that a tree, Ron? Oh, it looks like a date palm tree."
Ron stopped him, saying, "That looks like someone else planted it, don't..."
Unfortunately, it was too late. Oren uprooted the date palm tree and then cast a Shrinking Charm, reducing the tree to the size of a potted plant.
Ron: "You used magic! The Ministry of Magic will detect it!"
Oren: "It's alright, let's just open a portal and leave. Let the local Ministry of Magic suffer!"
The two hurriedly slipped into the portal and ran away.
A local villager exclaimed, "Where's my tree? How could such a big tree of mine be gone!"
Local Ministry of Magic: Where did he go?! He vanished in an instant? This is no ordinary dark wizard; this must be reported!
The chaos of war in the distance did not affect Oren, who, along with Ron, had already returned to London.
"Oren, we've been wandering the streets for over thirty minutes now, have you found your way yet?"
"There's no other way," Oren sighed. "We have to use that one move."
"What kind of trick?" Ron asked curiously. "Is it a powerful alchemical tool or a potent spell?"
"No, Ron is even more awesome than those."
Twenty minutes later, the two got out of the taxi.
Ron: "I think Hermione's house is much nicer than the Burrow."
Oren agreed, "I didn't expect Hermione to be so wealthy. Let's go back and find Ginny."
"No!" Ron stopped him. "Let's just go straight there, don't open a portal, I'm begging you, brother."
Oren...
"Since you've begged me so sincerely, I have nothing more to say."
The two arrived at the door, Ron raised his hand to knock, but Oren quickly pulled him back, saying, "The doorbell button is practically pressed against your face!"
Ron: "What bell?"
Oren rolled his eyes at him and rang the doorbell. Hermione opened the door shortly after.
Oren: "I thought it was Mr. Granger opening the door."
The little witch pouted and said, "Mom and Dad went to work at the dentist's office."
"Oh, is that so? Hermione Granger, it's been discovered that you've been secretly practicing magic off-campus. Come with us now!"
Hermione...
"Oren, what is that thing you're holding?"
Ron answered first, "Oren just picked it off the chopping block in the desert! He said it was a gift for Mr. Granger."
Hermione: "Are you sure this thing can survive in London without magic?"
Oren touched his nose and said uncertainly, "Let's trust Mr. Granger's wisdom."
Ron that Oren hadn't gotten to the point, Ron cut to the chase and said, "Hermione, we're here to invite you to the Quidditch World Cup."
"Then I'll go call my parents."
Mr. Granger readily agreed, and the little witch quickly packed her bags, carrying Crookshanks and the owl back to the living room.
"Let's go!" Oren pulled Ron away, who was still marveling at the phone.
Hermione asked in confusion, "Oren, your hair is so short now, it's only shoulder-length! Have you changed from a sweet and lovely style to a youthful and vibrant one?"
Oren...
"My current hairstyle suits my handsome image better. I'm now a well-known dashing young man in Devon, and I receive stacks of love letters from the girls in the villages."
Ron muttered to himself, "It's not just young girls who write love letters."
After overhearing Ron's mutterings, Hermione whispered to Ron, "Would Oren changing his hairstyle help?"
"It worked; two-thirds of the strange love letters are gone now."
Hermione's lips twitched, and she suggested, "Should we go find Harry?"
Ron: "It's fine whether I look for him or not, Sirius Black will probably bring him."
Oren: "It's a good idea to go check. Let's see if those two guys have starved to death."
Ron shouted, "How about we take the Knight Bus? A taxi wouldn't be a problem either!"
Oren???
