The Silver Dragon King: My Future Self Has Gone Bad!
The three stepped through the gates of the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineering Academy.
The principal's office was on the sixth floor, and Yin Hongye and Mu Hongchen walked there with practiced ease.
Yin Hongye kicked down the door whenever she saw it, her movements so practiced, as if she had done it many times before.
"Bang--!"
The familiar voice echoed once again throughout the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineering Academy.
The principal, sitting behind his desk behind the door, looked at the person who had come in with a complicated expression on his face.
It was the expression on an old farmer's face when he saw locusts flying into his field—heartbroken for his crops, yet powerless to do anything about it.
It's those two again. I'll still see them after graduation.
I'm being transferred now, so I can't continue this job.
The worst decision he ever made was agreeing to Yu Guanzhi's suggestion to enroll Yin Hongye and Mu Hongchen. From raiding the principal's office in the middle of the night to using a level-three Fixed Soul Cannon Shell as a school bell, there was nothing they wouldn't do.
This is an academy! They treat it like a battlefield, and act like tyrants!
Mu Hongchen considered himself the orthodox leader and directly led his students in a rebellion.
As for Yin Hongye, he came as soon as he heard about the rebellion.
We finally managed to send those two gods away, and now, another generation has arrived.
A row of people were standing in the office.
Na'er stood on the far left, her silver hair a little messy, her skirt stained with dust, but she was unharmed.
Opposite her were ten boys, lined up against the wall, their faces bruised and purple, with two wads of blood-stained tissues stuffed in the nostrils of the boy on the far right.
Ten against one, and they still haven't won.
Yin Hongye glanced at the boys, then at Na'er, "If you're weak, practice more. Look for the reasons within yourself. Have you been training properly? Has your cultivation improved? Why can't you beat that girl?"
"Look at them, weak, pitiful, and helpless. And look at you, broad-shouldered and fat... tsk tsk tsk..."
Those ten boys were all subdued.
Mu Hongchen glanced at the boys and then asked the dean, "By the way, they hit Na'er's fists with their cheeks, noses, and eyes. How do we deal with that?"
The dean blinked; how could Mu Hongchen have misinterpreted the meaning right from the start?
Qian Renxue ignored Yin Hongye and Mu Hongchen's coordinated defense of their own. She walked straight to Na'er, wiped the dust off Na'er's face, and said, "Na'er, tell me. What happened?"
Na'er looked up, her eyes showing no sign of guilt. "I saw them bullying a girl. They cornered her in a corner of the training field and mocked her for having no talent. So I went to help."
After hearing the gist of what had happened, Yin Hongye nodded. Now that she was in the right, she couldn't let the person go.
"Since that's the case, let these guys apologize. I don't need to go to each family one by one. Each family will receive a thousand-year-old spiritual item."
Mu Hongchen clicked his tongue from the side, "It's such a small matter, and you're taking so long to handle it. Principal, if you can't do it, let me take over. You're not up to the task."
The principal was speechless, feeling that the atmosphere the academy had finally managed to straighten was about to be bent again. Back then, these kids almost turned the students into an army and rebelled against him, the principal. Could it really happen this time?
"Alright, I'll inform their families to send spiritual gifts as compensation. You don't need to go and snatch them. You know your place."
Hearing this, Yin Hongye and Mu Hongchen took Na'er out, and the dean breathed a sigh of relief.
As they walked out of the principal's office, Yin Hongye led the way, followed by Na'er, with Mu Hongchen and Qian Renxue behind.
Yin Hongye slowed her pace and walked alongside Na'er. "Na'er, you did the right thing today, but you could have handled it better."
"Making a move in broad daylight on campus is too conspicuous and will cause a lot of trouble."
Na'er blinked. "Then what should we do?"
Yin Hongye turned her head, thought about it seriously for a moment, and said, "Find some time tonight, put the person in a sack, and drag them to the back mountain."
"Find a secluded spot, dig a hole, bury yourself in it, and leave your head sticking out. Feed and water you regularly, and you'll be fine."
"If we bury them for three days, they'll never dare to bully anyone again for the rest of their lives," Yin Hongye added. "Besides, even if they are discovered, it won't be a big deal."
Mu Hongchen walked behind, saying, "If all else fails and we have to bury the whole thing, we should find a place with good feng shui..."
"That's right, when you're out and about, you have to protect yourself." Yin Hongye smiled calmly, "Human nature is inherently evil."
Na'er nodded. "I understand."
"Remember, a gentleman who lacks dignity will not command respect. They will be immediately defiant," Yin Hongye reminded him again.
"I understand." Na'er nodded again, realizing they were still unconvinced.
"Remember, I must examine myself three times a day: I am not wrong, I am great, I deserve to be enshrined in the Imperial Ancestral Temple." Yin Hongye didn't like to waste her energy internally; she just needed to get rid of her emotions.
Na'er nodded. The Silver Dragon King outside the Heavenly Screen had only raised his head a short while before retreating back into the Lake of Life. His future self had gone astray, had become evil, and was on a path of no return.
It's uncertain whether the grand undertaking of promoting Soul Beast can still proceed.
These Mingdu fallacies, but why do they seem so reasonable?
Hearing these words from nearby, Qian Renxue was filled with disbelief. Just how experienced were these two? They were even more ruthless than she, someone who had navigated the treacherous world of the royal family.
Those outside the Heavenly Screen were visibly embarrassed; Yin Hongye and his companion were clearly very experienced in murder and robbery.
I can't imagine what these two were thinking.
A few days later.
The viewing platform for the launch of the Federation's first satellite was located on a high point on the outskirts of the city, offering a wide view of the launch tower in the distance.
The tower is entirely silver-white, reflecting a cold light in the sunlight.
When Yin Hongye and his group arrived, there were already quite a few people standing in the venue.
As soon as Mu Hongchen arrived, he was taken away by the Federation Research Team and contacted Yin Hongye by telephone.
Yin Hongye and Qian Renxue led Na'er toward the viewing platform. Before they even reached their seats, they saw three groups of people. He first saw Qian Gu Dongfeng.
The master of the Spirit Pagoda stood in the center of the viewing platform, dressed in a dark gold suit, his hair neatly combed, surrounded by two or three high-ranking members of the Spirit Pagoda.
He was chatting casually with Dong Zi'an, the commander of the Western Legion of the Federation Military Department, trying to get on his good side.
"The Spirit Pagoda has arrived too," Yin Hongye said casually. "If I'm not mistaken, I'll see other people as well."
"The Federation needs a lot of resources to launch a satellite," Mu Hongchen's voice came through the communicator. "It's not a free lunch. The Spirit Pagoda contributed, so of course Qian Gu Dongfeng has to show up. The others will definitely come too."
Yin Hongye didn't bother to look at him anymore and shifted her gaze to the right.
Another group of people stood in the right corner. The leader was a middle-aged man with a slender build, wearing a dark blue long robe with the Tang Sect Hidden Weapon patterns embroidered on the cuffs.
It was none other than the Passionate Douluo, Zang Xin, followed by several Tang Sect disciples.
"The Tang Sect is here too; they're all old acquaintances."
"Nonsense. The metal material for the rocket's thrusters was provided by the Tang Sect; we can't just use disposable materials from Heavenly Forging, can we?"
Yin Hongye hummed in agreement, her gaze continuing to sweep to the left. "Why are these guys who used to oppose Soul Tool here too?"
"Who knows? Why don't you have them recall the ancestral teachings!" Mu Hongchen said on the other end of the call.
On the far left of the viewing platform, a few people stood alone. Leading them was Long Yeyue, the Light-Dark Douluo Long Yeyue, whose white hair was neatly combed and who was wearing the white robe of Sea God Pavilion Elder of the Shrek Academy.
The Shrek members stood on the far left. The Spirit Pagoda members stood on the far right.
The distance between the two groups was a full half of the viewing platform.
Yin Hongye glanced at him a couple more times. Qian Gu Dongfeng's gaze occasionally veered to the left, a sinister glint in his eyes.
As for Long Yeyue from Shrek, she simply stared straight ahead the entire time, treating the people from the Spirit Pagoda as if they were invisible.
"Why aren't these two groups fighting yet?" Yin Hongye really had the urge to step in and fan the flames.
Looking at the silvery-white rocket in the distance, Qian Renxue couldn't help but ask, "What's the use of this thing? I see you all value it very much."
"Something that could once again change the landscape of warfare, from the original soldier-versus-soldier, general-versus-general dynamic, to the soul-guided cannon clashes of ten thousand years ago. And this is yet another change," Yin Hongye explained. "This is a change at the information level."
Upon hearing this, everyone outside the Heavenly Screen gasped. The Star Luo Emperor, in particular, stared intently at the Heavenly Screen.
Yin Hongye understood the Federation's purpose in summoning him and Mu Hongchen: to suppress the arrogance of these three families.
To put it simply, it's a slap in their face.
