Yin Hongye lost his mother in childhood; his father and younger brother later died while he was still young. He began killing at the age of six, an experience that shaped both his extreme killing intent and his outlook on strength. 28 44

His biological father and stepmother sent people to hunt him beginning when he was six. Until fourteen, he lacked a legal identity and survived as an assassin rather than living a normal childhood. As his spiritual power increases, his memories become clearer, intensifying his killing intent and further strengthening him. 88

Before the age of fourteen, he had never attended school. After receiving an education, he developed into an exceptionally capable craftsman, researcher, and combatant. 120 His cultivation likewise progressed abnormally quickly: he became a Soul Sage at fourteen, a Soul Douluo at fifteen, and a Titled Douluo at sixteen. 148

Despite his brutality, Yin Hongye maintains genuine loyalty toward Mu Hongchen and repeatedly guides Qian Renxue through the future era's combat systems, technology, and Soul Master culture. 16 19 71

Yin Hongye is willing to use political coercion as readily as violence. During the Star Luo campaign, he forces Green Skeleton into a Federation-aligned arrangement, threatens to replace its leadership if necessary, and advocates targeting hostile ruling classes rather than conducting indiscriminate slaughter. 154
