Xu Zhi waited for [Cup] to resist the gods’ overwhelming attack, then used the resulting instability to expose the weak connection point in the sky’s rules. She sent Xiao Zhen to examine the weld point, preparing to destroy it and break the blockade.
Xu Zhi used her rule power through Xiao Zhen to attack the Sky Rule’s weld point while [Cup] restrained it. The weld point broke, and the Sky Rule shattered as golden fragments rained from the sky.
After breaking the sky’s confinement, Xu Zhi and [Cup] reaffirmed their temporary alliance against the other gods before [Cup] vanished into Mansus. Xu Zhi returned to Midnight, where she found the awakened Spirit Vessel with Jiang Qing and confronted her for seeking Jiang Qing first.
Xu Zhi reunited with the revived Spirit Vessel and explained that a war among gods was approaching. She revealed a dangerous plan that required the Spirit Vessel’s help, leaving her worried but willing to assist.
Xu Zhi entered Mansus to search for the door by resonating with its rules and tracing them toward Radiance. She discovered that her attempt drew the attention of beings coveting the Radiance Fragment’s aura.
As Xu Zhi resonated with Mansus, she encountered [Lamp], who revealed her past involvement in guiding Xu Zhi and asked her to end the gods’ conflict over Ascension and Radiance. [Lamp] shared what she knew about the gods’ alliances and the origins of their altered supernatural rules, while Xu Zhi concluded that Radiance cared only for the world’s operation, not human rules or morality.
Xu Zhi learned how the gods used agents as vessels and persuaded [Lamp] to watch [Cup] and help her end the conflict. She then headed toward [Radiance], where the closer she came, the more her body trembled with instinctive fear of its source.
Xu Zhi tried to approach Radiance while resisting its power of assimilation, hoping to draw out the hidden god who had taken Radiance Fragments. The god attacked her with illusions and Moth abilities, but Xu Zhi revealed that she had turned the trap against it and ended with the attacker in her grasp.
Xu Zhi ambushed the invisible [Moth] god with an arrow empowered by several transcendent attributes, exposing and damaging His hidden weakness. Though [Moth] severed His injured hand and challenged her, Xu Zhi pressed the attack, confident that her combined abilities and [Lamp]’s support would win the fight.
Xu Zhi trapped [Moth] in the prison that had become her domain and appeared to be killed by its mental attack. [Moth] left believing it had won, unaware that a tiny moth had settled on its neck and was subtly altering its path.
[Moth] entered the battlefield to activate hidden eggs implanted in the other gods, hoping to exploit their chaotic energy during the fight. As the eggs hatched and the gods remained entangled in their schemes, [Cup] sensed an unknown presence and grew more vigilant.
[Cup] fought several gods using weapons made from her remains while concealing her trump card. [Opening] accused [Forge] of joining [Cup], and [Heart] realized the accusation had to be true because [Opening] could not lie.
[Moth] secretly infected [Blade] and [Winter] with moth eggs while the gods battled, then forced [Blade] into a deal after [Heart] unexpectedly wounded [Opening]. The chapter left [Blade] agreeing to target [Winter] first under [Moth]'s direction.
Blade wounded Winter at Moth’s request, and Moth moved to exploit their cooperation to kill Cup. Heart then attacked Moth, Blade, and Winter, and Cup revealed that she had also turned against them from within Moth’s own mind.
[Moth] struggled against Xu Zhi’s interference while fighting [Cup] alongside Winter in Mansus. As [Cup] turned her focus on [Moth] to draw out the hidden Xu Zhi, she used her power to seize something within the air.
Cup used flesh proliferation to make Mansus attack Moth, forcing Moth to tear away the flesh at the cost of severe damage. As Cup waited for another god to act, withered branches erupted from Moth’s head and began to take control.
Xu Zhi tricked [Moth] into tearing out its own talent circuit and devoured it, killing the god. With Mansus’s lightning gone, the remaining gods prepared to attack her.
Xu Zhi devoured Moth’s circuitry and used its abilities to control the other gods, while Cup secretly turned Heart and Forge against Opening. As the gods weakened one another, Lamp stepped forward to fulfill its agreement with Xu Zhi, knowing what its appearance meant.
Lamp chose to help Xu Zhi defeat the weakened gods, hoping to prevent the catastrophe in its prophecy. When the gods attacked Xu Zhi instead, she evaded them and Lamp immobilized their reason, but Xu Zhi stood by as Cup prepared to strike Lamp.
[Cup] turned [Heart] and [Forge] into puppets to overwhelm [Lamp], while [Severing] attacked Xu Zhi with a final, self-destructive blow. Xu Zhi braced herself and sent a Gyrfalcon toward [Severing] as the axe strike descended.
Xu Zhi survived [Blade]'s unstoppable final attack, though it badly injured her and prevented her from absorbing its circuit. As she began to recover, she realized she needed to reach [Lamp] before [Cup] could kill it.
Xu Zhi raced toward Radiance while Cup pursued her, leaving Lamp and the Game Console behind. Lamp asked whether the real world would recover from the gods’ battle, and the Game Console said she believed Xu Zhi would make it happen.
Game Console absorbed [Lamp]'s energy and learned that Xu Zhi had blocked their connection to keep her away from danger. Near the Gate, Xu Zhi fought [Cup], whose domain revealed where Xu Zhi had vanished.
Xu Zhi defeated [Cup] by using [Radiance], but nearly lost herself in the process. With the Game Console’s help, she recovered her memories, crossed the Gate of Ascension, and settled into a peaceful life as the world began to heal.
