• Hibaku warned Mei Terumi that Cloud Village’s Seven-Colored Ore threatened Mist Village’s trade, then brokered a bidding deal that let Cloud Village buy the merchants’ Rainbow Ore.
• Yōya confessed his feelings to Yugito, and the two began a relationship before parting with a kiss and promises despite serving rival villages.
• Obito recruited Hiruko after Hiruko completed the Chimera Technique, then organized forces and assigned members missions to secure resources and recruit Deidara.

Kakashi’s investigation into Tonika Village led to a battle with Dionysus and Obito over the Melody Rods and the Spear of Heaven. Natsuki defied Hagoromo’s plan for Naruto and Sasuke, then brought his companions home after the weapon was destroyed and the survivors were safe.

• Kakashi’s team investigated Tonika Village’s destruction, uncovered Dionysus’s human experiments, and learned from Takatsu that he had the last two Melody Rods.
• Dionysus and Obito attacked Hachi Town, but Kakashi’s team and Natsuki’s allies fought the reanimated dead as Obito seized the Melody Rods and activated the Spear of Heaven.
• Obito used the Spear of Heaven to unseal the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, while Natsuki battled Obito and the Eight-Headed Black Snake.
• Hagoromo confronted Natsuki in the Spiritual World and demanded that he let Naruto and Sasuke follow their destined path, but Natsuki refused and was bitten in half by the snake.

After Obito attacked the Land of Demons and sought Mōryō’s power, Natsuki rescued Ashihō and brought him and Shion to Konoha, where Shion agreed to use her visions to help protect people.

• Natsuki took Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata on an escort mission with Gantetsu, and helped Gantetsu reconcile with Akio and the orphaned children who had chosen to spare him.
• Orochimaru and Anko revealed Hiruzen Sarutobi’s crimes and Kushina’s stolen inheritance, leading to the Sarutobi Clan’s loss of property, arrests, and executions.
• Tsunade married Dan Katō, while Naruto and Hinata confessed their feelings to each other after Natsuki encouraged them to speak honestly.
• Obito stole Mōryō’s soul and awakened the Stone Golems, while Shion foresaw Ashihō’s capture and the danger to the Land of Demons.
