Reincarnation and Birth

Yu Chen was a twenty-first-century corporate worker who fell asleep while rushing a proposal, then awakened inside a dragon egg. The egg had been created in a hidden subspace by the Golden Dragon King, who exhausted his origin bloodline and divine power to create a son with an exceptional foundation. 2 3

He hatched ten days later as a small golden dragon. The Golden Dragon King named him Yu Chen, recognized him as a hundred-thousand-year soul beast from birth, and warned him to distrust the Tang family—especially Tang San. 3 4

The Golden Dragon King openly explained that Yu Chen had been created to approach the Silver Dragon King, Gu Yuena, and ultimately secure the Dragon God’s divine position for the dragon race. Yu Chen accepted the mission despite recognizing that his father had effectively created him as a political tool. 5 6

Descent to Douluo Continent

After reaching 500,000 years of cultivation in the God Realm, Yu Chen was sent through a gap in the Divine Forbidden Land’s seal and descended to Douluo Continent. His Golden Dragon King martial soul awakened upon arrival, bringing his human-form Soul Power to Level 20. 5 7

He supported Dai Yuhao—later known as Huo Yuhao—after recognizing the potential of the boy’s Spirit Eyes. Yu Chen later removed impurities from Huo Yuhao’s body, mutating the Spirit Eyes into Golden Eyes and raising his Soul Power from Level 1 to Level 5. 9 10

Shrek Academy

Yu Chen enrolled at Shrek Academy as an eleven-year-old Level 45 Soul Ancestor. He entered Freshman Class Nine, declined the class monitor position to focus on cultivation, and developed a reputation as an overwhelmingly strong but distant prodigy. 10 15 16

He defeated Xu Sanshi without initially summoning his martial soul, then revealed four ten-thousand-year soul rings and the Golden Dragon martial soul after Xu Sanshi yielded. Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well

After advancing to Rank 50, Yu Chen travelled alone to the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well. His Golden Dragon bloodline awakened the remnant souls of the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King, who recognized him as their lord and submitted to him. 29 30 31

At the well, he absorbed the Law of Destiny and became the universe’s sole Emperor Auspicious Beast. The transformation purified his bloodline, raised it to the Dragon God level, created two Soul Cores, and elevated him to Rank 63. 33 34

Conflict with Tang San

Tang San attempted to recruit Yu Chen into the Tang family, but Yu Chen rejected him outright. Tang San then tried to kill him and seize his Dragon God-level bloodline. 36 37

During the battle in Sea God’s Realm, Yu Chen fought Tang San despite being severely outmatched. After the Icefire Dragon Kings’ remnant souls were destroyed protecting him, he revealed his Golden Dragon true form and later used Bloodline Frenzy and the detonation of his dragon cores to obtain temporary God King-level combat power. 37 38 40

The Dragon God intervened before Yu Chen could perish, defeated Tang San, restored Yu Chen’s recovering dragon cores, and placed the Ascension Dragon Pillar in Yu Chen’s sea of consciousness. 41 47

Star Dou Forest and the Sun Moon Empire

Yu Chen awoke in Star Dou Forest, where Di Tian brought him to Gu Yuena. Gu Yuena recognized the Golden Dragon King’s scent in him and eventually acknowledged him as the Golden Dragon King’s son. 47

After defeating Di Tian in a spar, Yu Chen was offered the Beast God position but declined. Gu Yuena later used the Ascension Dragon Pillar as proof that Yu Chen had gained the Dragon God’s recognition and named him the Young Lord of Star Dou. 49 52

When Shrek branded him a Sun Moon Empire spy, Yu Chen chose to enter the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy. There, he rapidly became a fourth-rank Soul Engineer under Xuan Ziwen’s instruction and set the academy’s youngest fourth-rank record. 50 66 71
