Upon receiving the order, the Evil Fire Phoenix's originally ferocious gaze suddenly turned gentle.
It folded its wings, and its massive body drew a fiery-red arc through the air as it plunged straight toward Tang San.
Tang San was running while Yu Xiaogang dragged him along when he suddenly felt a wave of heat descending from above.
He instinctively looked up and saw the Evil Fire Phoenix swooping down at him.

But it was already too late. The Evil Fire Phoenix was too fast—so fast that Yu Xiaogang had no time to react.
