Background / History

Xuan Xiao spent six years adapting to the world and determining that he had arrived in the era of the Peerless Tang Clan. He located Huo Yuhao, shadowed him for months, and entered the Star Dou Forest not to help him, but to intercept the moment the original plot began and acquire startup resources. His Spirit-Devouring Carving Knife attracted Electrolux’s remnant soul away from Huo Yuhao, causing it to enter Xuan Xiao’s forehead instead. 1

He entered Shrek Academy with a recommendation letter, level 39 Soul Power, and the Wind Elf Martial Soul. His registration display immediately drew attention: his Martial Soul manifested as a five-meter azure giant with six white wings, golden armor, and oversized armored fists. 2

After obtaining Ten-Thousand-Year Mysterious Ice Marrow from beneath the Earth Dragon Sect, Xuan Xiao traveled to the Far North. There, he negotiated with the Snow Empress and Ice Empress using the ice marrow as payment and support against their Heavenly Tribulations. Xuan Xiao later confirmed to Ji Dong that he originated from the twenty-first century and had reached Douluo Continent through an accident. After traveling to a parallel world, Xuan Xiao learned in Coconut Grove City that the year was 2620 of the Douluo Calendar, eleven years before Tang San’s expected birth. He is also calculating and commercially minded. He treats rare treasures as negotiating tools, builds partnerships around Soul Spirits, and deliberately positions his business toward a high-end monopoly rather than immediate sales. 48 67 69

Despite his recklessness and enjoyment of spectacle, he consults Zhi An when making major decisions because he recognizes his clone’s greater composure and caution. 51

Xuan Xiao is willing to test dangerous equipment on himself, including a form that can cause him to lose judgment and attack indiscriminately. He nevertheless prepared the Golden-haired Lion Mastiff to forcibly restrain him if he entered a berserk state. 184 186
