History

Lie Yan watches Snow Empress survive her heavenly tribulation and expresses relief. As an Earth-Core Red Lotus, she feels a kinship with Snow Empress because both were born from the essence of heaven and earth. When Tang San accuses her of siding with soul beasts, she rebukes him and warns him not to mistake her for someone he can intimidate. Ji Dong steps beside her, and Tang San backs down 32.

Later, Tang San considers Lie Yan and Ji Dong powerful enough to defeat him if none of them held divine positions. Though all three are God Kings, he doubts he could suppress the couple even when he possessed two super divine artifacts 101.
