Which One Is Building One?

In contrast to the simple and practical style of the teaching area buildings, the dormitory area of the Jia Nan Academy is much more exquisite.

Stepping through the dormitory area gate, several bamboo-green pavilions stand in a staggered arrangement. Between the pavilions and the gate is a wide square paved with pure white stones. In the center of the square, a clear pond glistens, and colorful fish occasionally leap out of the water, splashing up tiny droplets.

Compared to the large square in the teaching area, this place was much more lively. Young couples strolled hand in hand, chatting by the pond; students leaned against trees, playing the flute with melodious grace; and one student was intently squatting by the pond, his hands submerged in the water, trying to catch a fish. However, just two steps to his right, there stood a conspicuous wooden sign with a large fishing net pattern covered by a red cross.

"Senior, isn't fishing prohibited here?" Feeling the peaceful and pleasant atmosphere of the dormitory area, Huo Yuhao felt much more relaxed. Seeing the student fishing, he curiously stepped forward to ask.

The trainee rolled up his trouser legs and sleeves, his Adam's apple bobbed, his muscles were ready, and his eyes were fixed on the fish in the pond.

"You don't understand! This sign means fishing with nets is prohibited." The fishing student didn't turn around, his voice tinged with smugness. "So I'm catching fish by hand, not violating any academy rules."

"Is... that so?" Huo Yuhao was somewhat speechless.

"Of course! The academy must be doing this to train us!"

Just then, a plump carp slowly floated to the surface. Huo Yuhao only heard a low growl, "Now!", before the figure of the student slacking off in front of him disappeared into the water.

"It's just catching a fish, is it really necessary to go to such lengths?" Xiao Yi Xian covered her mouth, somewhat surprised.

"No, he just slipped." Huo Yuhao's eyes twitched. He helplessly raised his right hand, his palm loosely clenched, and an invisible force probed into the bottom of the pool. The student who was scrambling to catch fish and his fish flew out together and landed on the open ground by the pond. The splashing water instantly condensed into tiny ice crystals as it approached Huo Yuhao.

"Cough cough, thanks bro, I'll share a grilled fish with you later!" The lazy senior shivered, hugging his arms in a disheveled manner, then circulated his Dou Qi to dry the moisture in his clothes. Judging from his practiced movements, this was clearly not the first time such an accident had occurred.

"No need, we have other things to do." Huo Yuhao politely declined, then took Xiao Yi Xian's wrist and headed towards the dormitory building marked "Building One" on the right.

"Hey, no, brother... Achoo! Achoo!" The student who was slacking off looked in Huo Yuhao's direction in surprise. Just as he was about to remind him, his still damp body was hit by the cold wind, and he sneezed several times in a row, interrupting his words.

At that moment, some students who had noticed this watched in disbelief as Huo Yuhao led Xiao Yi Xian into the dormitory building in a grand manner, rubbing their eyes in disbelief.

"Wow—how brave you are, my friend!"

"This girl is so charming, I think I'm in love again!" The flute student put down his instrument and stared at the two of them with adoration.

"Hey! Didn't you come here to confess to Senior Han Yue? You've already fallen for someone else?" His companion sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Who's your crush this time, that purple-haired girl?"

"No, it's blue." The flute student's gaze was fixed on Huo Yuhao's hair, and hearts appeared in his eyes.

"What? Shouldn't this be a guy? Wait a minute, he actually went into the girls' dormitory!" His companion's jaw nearly dropped.

Entering the dormitory building, Huo Yuhao walked through the first-floor corridor and into the stairwell. As he walked, his gaze swept over the interior decoration of the building, and he couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

The dormitory building is filled with ingenious Mechanism Arts, and its water supply, temperature control, and lighting are very similar to the technologically advanced world that Xiao Yan described.

Huo Yuhao shook his head. This was something Shrek Academy's dormitory building, which clearly possessed Soul Guidance Technology but only had light bulbs installed, couldn't compare to.

After taking a few steps, Huo Yuhao suddenly stopped, realizing he had discovered a blind spot.

He stepped back to the water room at the second-floor stairwell he had just passed. Through the open door, Huo Yuhao could clearly see a female student filling a water cup.

Huo Yuhao and Xiao Yi Xian were stunned for a moment, then realized the problem. Without disturbing the female student, they quietly retreated back to the stairwell.

"Brother Huo Yuhao, this seems different from what you said!" Xiao Yi Xian shook Huo Yuhao's hand, a mischievous smile on her face, "This is the girls' dormitory!"

"Indeed..." Huo Yuhao paused for a moment, then slapped his forehead hard. "I was being a bit presumptuous. Jia Nan Academy has several dormitory buildings; how could men and women live together?"

Before he finished speaking, the air around Huo Yuhao distorted, instantly concealing his figure.

"Brother Huo Yuhao, let's meet downstairs in fifteen minutes and go check out the cafeteria together," Xiao Yi Xian said to the air.

After returning to the boys' dormitory, Huo Yuhao didn't care about seeing anything he shouldn't have. He spread his mental energy and quickly confirmed that the gender composition of the building was correct before deactivating the Simulation and revealing his true form.

Just like the girls' dormitory, the boys' dormitory building also had a sign that read "Building 1". Huo Yuhao looked at the sign and scratched his head awkwardly.

"So it turns out there's a separate building for boys and a separate building for girls. The logistics teacher's punctuation seems a bit off!"

Just as Huo Yuhao was about to find his dormitory by following the door number, a voice suddenly rang out from the side:

"Hey, classmate!" The student rushed up to Huo Yuhao in three strides. "Hey, aren't you the junior who was just with that purple-haired beauty? What are you doing in the boys' dormitory?"

The student looked at him with a knowing expression. "I guess you're here to see your boyfriend? Which dorm does he live in? Tell the senior, and he'll take you there."

"Ahem!" A few black lines appeared on Huo Yuhao's forehead as he helplessly clarified, "Senior, I'm a guy!"

"Don't be shy! I'm happy to help! Just ask anyone if you don't believe me." The student clearly didn't believe him. "No need to hide it, our college doesn't have any rules prohibiting girls from coming to the boys' dormitories!"

"Senior, I didn't lie to you." Huo Yuhao was both amused and exasperated, and could only pull open his collar to show off his Adam's apple.

"What?! You're really a guy?!" The student's eyes widened instantly, as if he'd heard something unbelievable, and his voice suddenly rose, "Then why did you just go into the girls' dormitory?! You wouldn't happen to be...?"

Whoosh--!

Before the other person could finish speaking, Huo Yuhao's figure blurred and twisted again, and like a startled rabbit, he fled to a higher floor at top speed, leaving the senior standing there, bewildered in the wind.
