Proficient: You could already use this move skillfully and unleash it with ease, a level above Basic.

Specialized: You had trained the entire move until it was etched into your bones, allowing you to bring out one hundred percent of its power.

Above Specialized was another level called Peak Mastery, but ordinary Trainers had no need to know about it. It was useless to them; rather than spend that time practicing, they might as well learn a more powerful move.

That was something top-tier Trainers needed to consider. At their level, they had already learned nearly every move they could, so all that remained was to constantly Sharpen their mastery of those moves and increase their power.

The mastery of Tackle, Harden, Mud-Slap, and Headbutt had now all reached the Proficient level.

Three-Star Talent really was extraordinary. Of course, Aron's hard work was equally indispensable.

Lin Kai had once said that, for a Trainer, the best Pokémon was one with high talent that was also hardworking, trained willingly, and possessed positive goals. Pokémon like that were the best.

But they were also the rarest, because most Pokémon only met one or two of those criteria.

Either they were talented but lazy, or they lacked talent but were exceptionally diligent. There was also the type with ordinary talent that was not lazy, but not hardworking enough either.

So Jiang Jing was very fortunate to have an Aron that was talented, hardworking, and self-motivated.

After returning home, he took a bath with Aron as usual, then ate breakfast.

Watching Aron eat more and more, he had already gotten used to it. Its appetite truly grew every day. Pokémon Food was fine.

But it was eating more and more Ore. One hundred and fifty jin of Ore had originally lasted three days, but now five hundred jin only lasted two days, forcing him to buy it from the supermarket.

Just after breakfast, the phone rang.

"Hello? Ah Bin, what is it?"

It was Liu Bin calling. Over the past dozen or so days of summer vacation, he had often called to discuss the National Championship.

Liu Bin said, "Brother Jing, come on, let's go have some fun at Battle Park! (doge)"

Jiang Jing asked, "Why aren't you continuing to watch the National Championship?"

Liu Bin said, "I can't watch it every day. My parents keep saying I stay home all day and never go out."

"To be honest, staying home every day is pretty boring, and none of my favorite players have matches over the next few days."

"So I'm planning to go have some fun at Battle Park today."

Jiang Jing said, "Fine. I'll wait for you at the entrance in ten minutes."

Liu Bin said, "ojbk"

Ten minutes later, at the entrance to Taiyu Residential Complex, Jiang Jing looked up at the sky. It was clear and cloudless, with the sun shining brightly and a pleasant breeze in the air. It was just a little hot.

A minute later, Liu Bin finally arrived late.

Liu Bin said, "Let's go. I'm going to the supermarket to buy two bottles of water."

Liu Bin said, "How about we ride shared bikes?"

So the two of them each unlocked a shared bike and rode toward Battle Park.

As the scenery around them continuously receded and the blazing sun beat down on them, Liu Bin, needing to distract himself, asked, "Brother Jing, how's your Aron's training going?"

Jiang Jing said modestly, "Not bad. Aron trains seriously, and its progress has been pretty good. It just eats a bit too much."

Liu Bin said, "Of course. They're both Pokémon with Two-Star Talent, so naturally their talent is different from ordinary Pokémon."

Liu Bin said, "Tch, my Shinx has great talent. How many contestants in the Suicune Cup could have Two-Star Talent?"

"A player at my level entering a competition like the Suicune Cup would be like dimensional suppression. I'd slaughter everyone."

Jiang Jing said speechlessly, "I just love how confident you look. It'll be quite a sight when you get slapped in the face."

There were not many people at Battle Park during the day, since everyone had to work. With the weather being so hot, even fewer people came.

After arriving at Battle Park and parking their shared bikes by the roadside, the two walked across the plaza and soon reached the battle area.

There were several people battling in the area. A huge silver canopy overhead covered the surroundings completely, and the moment they entered, they could feel the cool air. This area was not particularly hot.

It was summer vacation, so most of the people there were students who did not have classes.

After entering, the two immediately ran over to watch. The closest battle was between two boys around twelve or thirteen years old. Jiang Jing used Data Eye to inspect their Pokémon.

They all had Below Average Talent, and their levels were not high either, around level fifteen or sixteen.

Someone had previously written about Pokémon with Below Average Talent on Bihu. Level thirty was their limit; they could barely improve any further unless their talent increased, but that was an extremely unlikely event.

After watching three matches, Liu Bin and Jiang Jing were both itching for a battle. Liu Bin could not resist challenging a boy around fourteen or fifteen years old.

He was a delicate-looking boy, and he used a puppy-like Pokémon—Lillipup.

Jiang Jing activated Data Eye and scanned both Pokémon.

Liu Bin's Shinx had indeed trained. Rising from level one to level seven in just over ten days was already quite good, though it was still far behind Aron.

Jiang Jing acted as the Referee. After explaining the rules, he had both sides begin.

What followed was a battle between two rookies pecking at each other. It was probably Liu Bin's first battle too, and he was nervous. Even his voice shook a little when giving commands.

But as the battle went on, the two Pokémon traded Tackles, one hitting the other and then getting hit back.

Before long, both were covered in injuries. But Shinx had higher talent than Lillipup and slightly better stamina. In the end, Lillipup ran out of strength and was taken down by a single Tackle from Shinx.
