"His clothing resembles that of the Warring States Period, and he calls himself a member of the Uchiha Clan. Could he be an Uchiha clansman from the Warring States Period?" Jiraiya analyzed.

"It is not those vile Senju Clan bastards, but they are involved. It is a long story, and I will explain it to you later, Izuna Uchiha. For now, I can simply tell you that it is the will left behind by Tobirama Senju. It wants to eradicate every member of our Uchiha Clan."

"Jiraiya, what exactly happened? Who are those two standing beside Shadian?" Hiruzen Sarutobi leaped onto a tree beside Jiraiya and asked him, where he stood atop Gamaken.

"Shadian summoned them through the Summoning Jutsu. They look like dead people who have returned from the grave. That girl resembles Minato's student, Rin Nohara, while the other one appears to be Madara Uchiha's younger brother."

"Madara Uchiha's younger brother?"

Everyone's hearts shook, and disbelief filled their faces.

After a long while, Hiruzen Sarutobi said in a grave voice, "Reviving the dead... that sounds like the forbidden technique sealed away by the Second Hokage. Could Uchiha Shadian have been secretly in contact with Orochimaru all this time?"

Jiraiya said, "I remember you saying that the Second Hokage's resurrection forbidden technique had flaws. It carried tremendous risks, required living people as sacrifices, and the revived were not truly alive. But they look exactly like living people. Could Orochimaru have improved and perfected the ninjutsu, allowing him to truly revive the dead?"

"A ninjutsu that revives the dead!" Itachi Uchiha raised a brow. "Does that mean it can revive..." At that thought, Itachi Uchiha's body suddenly trembled. He looked up at Uchiha Shadian, then closely examined Rin Nohara beside him. Her skin was flushed and full of color, no different from that of a living person.

He suddenly seemed to understand why Uchiha Shadian had changed so drastically and mercilessly killed his entire family.

Itachi Uchiha's expression became complicated, his gaze deep and inscrutable. He dismissed the Susanoo and stood there, not knowing what to think.

"You have worked hard tonight, Itachi." Hiruzen Sarutobi landed on the ground beside Itachi Uchiha and spoke in a low voice.

"Everything is for Konoha's peace," Itachi Uchiha said softly, his eyes fixed on Uchiha Shadian as if lost in thought.

"Mm." Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded, then looked toward Izuna Uchiha beside Uchiha Shadian. "Do you know anything about that man in Warring States Period clothing, the so-called younger brother of Madara Uchiha?"

Itachi Uchiha shook his head.

"Ah! Brother Shadian, th-this is the Nine-Tails!" Rin Nohara suddenly cried out. She had initially seen something furry beneath her feet and thought it was some cute animal. When she turned around, she never expected it to be the nine-tailed Nine-Tails. She was instantly frightened out of her wits.

"Little girl, it is only the Nine-Tails. What is there to fear? It is merely a pet of the Uchiha Clan," Izuna Uchiha said.

"A pet?" Rin Nohara asked uneasily, "But the Nine-Tails is extremely ferocious."

Izuna Uchiha glanced at the Nine-Tails disdainfully. "Before the power of the Uchiha Clan, it can only be a pet trampled beneath the Uchiha Clan's feet."

"Shadian, where is Naruto? What did you do to him?" Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned at Uchiha Shadian. In his heart, he guessed that Naruto Uzumaki had died when the Nine-Tails was unsealed.

"He is only a demon fox, yet you still care about him?" Uchiha Shadian looked at Hiruzen Sarutobi with a faint smile.

"You killed him?" Hiruzen Sarutobi asked.

"He was..." Hiruzen Sarutobi glared.

"Naruto is dead?" Jiraiya's eyes widened as well, his face filled with shock.

"Naruto was innocent. How could you bring yourself to kill him?" Hiruzen Sarutobi demanded of Uchiha Shadian.

"What right do you have to question me, Hiruzen Sarutobi?" Uchiha Shadian replied disdainfully. "Who caused Naruto Uzumaki's childhood tragedy?"

"Was it his father, his mother, or you?"

"He was innocent, but were the other young Uchiha children not innocent as well?"

"Why did you cruelly give the order for Itachi Uchiha, that beast, to slaughter them all without leaving a single one alive?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi was left speechless by the questioning. Although he had not issued the order directly, he had tacitly agreed under the unanimous opinion of the other three.

"What? That old bastard actually dared to order the slaughter of our Uchiha Clan?" Upon hearing this, Izuna Uchiha immediately glared furiously at Hiruzen Sarutobi. His Three-Tomoe Sharingan spun before instantly transforming into the Mangekyō Sharingan. A terrifying surge of chakra erupted, intimidating the entire scene.
