His hand kept trembling.

He pretended to speak with cold sarcasm. "I'll kill you someday, no matter what. After all, keeping a wizard like you hidden all this time..."

"No, I always knew it was you. Darren knew too. I had Snape keep watching you. I tried to get him to persuade you back onto the right path."

Malfoy shouted, "You don't understand him at all! All he wants now is to steal my credit!

Dumbledore said firmly.

Malfoy looked as though he was about to laugh.

He listened carefully to the sounds outside.

There was no movement.

But he still pretended to be confident. "My friends will be coming up soon..."
