Lily's Letter!!

Moody's expression stiffened slightly.

"If I'd known it would be like this, I might as well have died there. At least then I would've earned myself an obituary!"

Moody said, pretending not to care.

Darren sighed.

He examined Moody's wounds and said, "Alastor, I have a way to make your fingers grow back...

I got the idea from Voldemort when I looked at him, but I'll have to leave my mark on you. You understand what that means..."

"Then do it!"

Without a second thought, Moody held out his hand.

Darren revealed a moved expression.

He used his wand to carve the image of a phoenix onto Moody's arm.

Moody immediately felt a connection form between himself and Darren.

Darren smiled.

"Of course. Otherwise, how could the Death Eaters openly call upon Voldemort?"

Then he touched Moody's eye socket with his wand.

The eye socket healed.

Next came his hand.

Moody's hand was formed from a crystalline glow.

"It doesn't affect my movements. It's as good as new... But my Magic Eye..."

Moody was furious.

"Those people were after my Magic Eye. The moment they arrived, they attacked it!"

"I'll keep an eye out for it. Once we find it, we can put it straight back in. It won't affect anything."

Darren smiled.

Then he looked at the others.

Mrs. Weasley was hugging Harry and Ron.

When she saw that Darren had finally finished, a smile appeared on her face.

"No one died. Everyone is safe and sound. Dedadalo was hit by a Stunning Spell, so we dragged him away.

Two Death Eaters died. One was taken down by you, Darren, but you didn't kill him... so Lupin finished him off."

Mrs. Weasley said.

She seemed to want to tell Darren

that he had to make sure to kill people
