Harry and the others pretended to be awkwardly silent.

In truth, they still did not believe much of what Phineas said. Darren had to tell them those things personally before they would believe them.

While Darren argued with the Death Eaters because he did not want to eat a midnight snack, Harry and Hermione endured the cold as they discussed where to go next in the tent.
